New stuff?

[Nicolette]

well, looking at the text for it, it sounds like summoners won't be able to summon anything but Carbuncle in the fight Maybe Fenrir and Diabolos too, but not the main elemental ones.

eshna'tarl seems to have 2 quests, carbuncle one started at la theine, and then repeat or next day quests in the series after the primes.. (again?) including going back to full moon fountain

[Grem]

anyone able to PM me a link to where I can get ahaolda POL utils? Thants.

[Uzor]

Also, here's the text for Ifrit, looks like you'll have to fight them as a party before to defeat them again (Awakening of the Beast) before you can enter the big one with all of them. Hopefully this one, too, will be a 18-person battle against a harder version.

Only the last four lines are of importance, as those are the only ones new to my understanding, but I decided to post the "Waking the Beast" etc. part too, as there seem to be two parts of the quest

[CubsWoo]

From what I can tell, this is how the new Carby quest will go:

- Talk to Carby in LTP
- All members of alliance flag quest, go to Cloister
- Alliance battle vs. tougher Prime
- Win fight, get Eye of (X)
- Get all 6 Eyes, talk to Carby in LTP again
- Take new key item to Full Moon Fountain, final fight with alliance vs. all avatars(?)
- Get cool stuff for winning, hopefully.

[Raesvelg]

uh. i don't think uzor's on the right track. 3% damage gets converted to MP. take 100 damage, get 3 mp. get throatstabbed for 1000 get 30 mp. this seems to be how it should work... Pld > Nin now with this? hmm

That's what I'm praying for... and that the actual difficulty in obtaining said earring isn't utterly ridiculous.

I have the sneaking suspicion that those 4 earrings might drop off of whatever is the mega-boss in Dynamis-Tavnazia... But mebbe not. Might be new Ancient Beastcoin buys.

[Nicolette]

also theres new moves added after (maybe for?) diabolos...

anyone able to PM me a link to where I can get ahaolda POL utils? Thants.

plzplzplz?

[CubsWoo]

Google POLUtils and you should find it.

[Nifal]

actually, I believe it means that 3% of the damage will be reduced, while you lose the same ammount of MP. Per hit.

Ethereal Earring (Rare/Ex)
HP+15 Attack+5 Evasion+5
Converts 3% of damage taken to MP
Lv. 72 All jobs

Dunno it does say Converts 3% of the dmg taken to MP, whether thats every hit not sure on that.

[Uzor]

looks like wanabee-versions of relic weapons ; ;

[Raesvelg]

looks like wanabee-versions of relic weapons ; ;

Damn, why am I remembering a FF where there was a fake version of Exalibur....?

[Vandoura]

Wait WHMs aren't supposed to melee!!!! Why does SE keep adding all these weapons that add stats like this????

god.. I really hate sometime people think whm is only a crowdly job that stay behind and heal other people, WHM can really be a good melee too in pt or solo with a right equipment and weapons

all jobs and melee >.> just know the right time when to stop and back off

One word. Algarius. He is the best motherfucking soloing WHM period.

[Faluzure]

Uzor/Dayner. Let's get the LS peeps and do some Avatar shizzles!@

[Nicolette]

In case anyone reading this didnt figure it out, i'm interested in doing the avatars tonight, tomorrow morning, all day from now till i'm done.
{invite to join party yes, please}

[Torque]

Uzor, Orchid, Dayner, Falzure I'm in for these avatars. Lets jump on this whenmaintenance ends. Any word on a level cap?

Party Setup:
Torque: 73 RDM
Orchid: 74SMN
Dayner: 75DRK
Falzure:???
Uzor: ???

[Dowzer]

WHM are great at soloing, I have to hand that to them...They can stay alive for quite a long time.
But they by no means deal great damage, they just lack the base str to do so.
