New Synthesis Recipes and Equipment (10/12/2006)

Crafters and collectors alike have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming version update. New synthesis recipes, weapons, and armor are on their way!

New Synthesis Recipes
The next version update will feature a number of new enchanted items that can be used at low levels and synthesized at a comparatively low cost using lambent cells.

Also, culinarians will soon be able to make the new item "angler stewpot," which will affect all party members within a certain radius.

New Equipment
Here is a taste of the equipment to come in the next version update:

Yeah... exactly. Either they got extremely lazy and decided to reuse all of the old equipment .dat's, or they just decided to screw the world over by making most end-game hard-to-obtain items craftable? ;

Well generally in SE's SS's I've noticed they're just lazy and put each job in their respective Relic armor.. So you know which armor they're really showing off, so I doubt the relic being crafted thing

...Imagine the cost on the AH if Relic was actually craftable (Especially THF hands) ;

Hopefully that BLM hat is pimp. And I doubt they will make aegis craftable that would be extremely lame for people who worked hard to get it :/

That BLM hat is definately a new Relic/Artifact, They did meantion new Dynamis so thats not a surprise.

Me thinks it'll be synthed?

It looks nice enough, hopefully it'll be as cheap as they're suggesting, but I don't like enchanted items to be honest, I'd much rather have the stats just there and not have to buy another over again.

Although you're right in suggesting it could be dynamis drops given they show the BLM in full Relic (from what I can see) and an Aegis (different shield same model maybe?)

That doesn't look like a Blessed Briault... Maybe thats a new addition too?

New gear is always good, the body piece on the pld is new, but the blm in relic is odd. Hopefully SE will introduce more craft recipies so that crafting might actually be worth it again.

Considering the galka is wielding a sword, I highly doubt its Briault... from the looks of it, it looks like a PLD? Considering he's wearing a mask, it could also be a NIN... but then he'd be wearing atleast some AF/AF2, and not be wielding a sword <.<

Well, we already knew their would be a new Dynamis, it was meantioned at the beginning of the TGS (Tokyo Game Show). They would eventually have to add the new jobs to a Dynamis, but it would never have any interest if only BLU COR and PUP dropped. So logically it makes sense to have a whole new Relic set for all jobs. Most of those pics are synths, I think the only Relic is the BLM.. but who knows I could be wrong lol

Well that'd just suck. Now you have to get FIVE sets of relic (af1, 1+1, af2, 2+1, and this) to have every situational piece for your job. Between blm and bst, I've only got like 14 inventory spaces left between mog house, mog locker, and storage. This is just what I need! More clutter! Yes! lol.

Anyway, why a new dynamis when hardly anyone really focuses on the cop dynamises that already exist? I don't think I've ever seen anyone even with full af2+1 yet.
