Also, gear is a little diff. from what you're used to. Instead of snipers/dex/agi rings go INT rings, morion earrings x2 till you can use moldavite (damned juicy!) then swap out one morion for moldavite. Hands: avoid o. kote... since eventually you wont even be melee'ing at all... and it really wont make your melee dmg any more noticeable in comparison... I used garrison gloves personally. The rest I'd say gear up like a NIN normally would... fuma kyahan give a tiny haste boost to your elemental wheel (meaning less time in between casting the wheel, and even moreso with haste on) but you can easily swap something else in for those if you wish. Gear up with lots of evasion where you can't apply INT, and use INT boosting food... because you will be tanking a lot whether you like it or not. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't have a "real" tank in the pt... there will be times when you get hella resisted and can't hold hate reliably enough with your ninjutsu, and a real voker is safer. If you're getting over 200 xp (you wont see this unless you're fighting mobs extremely over your level) you will probably feel like you're getting resisted way too much... and you probably are. Fighting mobs just barely over the IT level is ideal... once you get to using staves nothing comes close to kicking ass like that.
