If anyone's interested, the New Year's event is up. Year of the rat or mouse or whatever, heard if you trade fireworks you can get a 4 space furniture.

EDIT: Seems its those snowman furniture that was sent out early. Here's your chance to get them. If anyone has photos post em up, I'll do so once I get some.

I killed a bee and a worm next to the rat, traded a copper ore, flint, and beehive chip and got all three lol.

Yes, I know I could just trade one of a junk item I have a shitload of, but I'm curious if the rare/ex trick still works. With these events in the past, they required a lot of trades, so the rare/ex trick worked perfectly; so knowing if it still works or not is useful information. Hell, it's useful even if you just want to save your stuff.
