Newbies Coming to Jeuno Rant

Seems like lately there have been a lot of noobs coming to Jueno to do their Chocobo quest with no Gil?!!?!! I see shouts all the time begging for Gill for the chocobo quest.

Just recently, I was sitting in front of the Lower Jeuno AH with a couple of friends when a noob exaimes me then proceeds to beg for 3,000 Gil. Not 100 or 150 Gil. 3,000! :shock:

He then proceeds to give me this sob story how he can't get back and he is too low to farm here. I tell him I just bought some stuff and have no more Gil which is not the truth(but I do need the money for my second Sniper ring and Haubregeon). He then proceeds to ask me to help him farm then. I tell him I'm in a PT and that he needs to ask his friends or his LS(he tells me he has no friends and his LS said no :roll: suprise, suprise). He then has the ballz to ask me to ask my PT if they can give him Gil! What the hell?!!?!!! In the end he ended up doing a shout just like all the other Noobs.

If your coming to Jeuno to do your Chocobo Quest Bring Gil!

so I guess that means we all have to hide in Kazham, Norg and Rabao, or at least until they start gettting to the late 20's and flood Kazham . . .

Maybe, just maybe these people will encounter enough hostility in Jeuno that they will finally shut up.

petey. He is constantly yelling in jeuno about selling stuff and everyone is angry at him. He has done nothing but leech xp to get to whatever level he is now ( i know.. partied with him before)
 
Begging for gil or crystals or anything is pathetic.
These people need to just go and get it themselves.
 
but the question is why make the long hike to do the chocobo quest at Jeuno and not bring any money?
 
Oh well.. they will eventually realize that their mentality was plain stupid when they get super bored or 1-2 hit killed when they try to leave Jeuno. It will be funny if they set their HP in Jueno too.. :lol: :lol:

My point is this. Noobs don't know and we all were Noobs when we started playing. Chargeing 1 k for one clump of this grass is Bull. I swear where is the love in this game. I help people in my linkshell when I can farm this grass when they are about to do this quest.

I myself hate begging so yeah I see your point on blasting people for begging for gil or powerleveling. I hate seeing people getting blasted for just being new to a game the most and not knowing. Just my two cents.

guess i got lucky, when i was ready for the chocobo quest my LS told me first thing what i had to do, so i didnt make the trip to Jeuno all for nothing. In fact one of the members sent me a clump of grass to get me started. Sometimes i wonder if i am spoiled XD

But back to the topic, yes this person was uninformed, but that is no excuse to be begging for gil, especially after lvl 20. As far as i am concerned, aggro dodging is a necessary skill that should be almost perfected by that level. If they are too lazy or lack the aggro dodging skill, that is more or less their problem.
 
Heh. When I made my first trip to Jueno, I did it as a level 1 job. If I can do it, then these noobs can do the same for the run BACK to their home nation.
 
no one owes anyone anything in this game... people that shout and beg for anything shouldn't be playing.. part of the fun is earning gear, license, rank, etc

i've nothing against charity... but everything against begging
when someone low level and new to the game comes to our linkshell many people will buy nice +1 gear for them, give them quest items, help them with quests and missions, etc etc.. but they never ask for items or gil or gear... if anyone ever asks for gil, gear or items i wouldn't give them shit and im sure most others in my linkshell wouldn't either
