Sounds like roughly -22% reduction from each level. That means my WHM AND SMN are probably @1 right now...
But I can't check, since SE has the special "if someone with a better connection tries to patch, autoboot the one with a slower connection" setup. -.-;
 
I haven't gotten crap out of being 75...

Then why would you advocate people paying so dearly for it? Because you paid it and got nothing? Well they'll pay it and get less. I don't know about you, but I would be happy if my kids didn't have to work as hard as I do

I'd like to point something out about that as well. Being 75 is the end for 1 job, but not for a character. Every new job and subjob I level gives me more versitility based on the situation. Like you level THF, and for many situations, you want 1 THF total and no others. Another THf = your 75s of leveling for nothing(not nothing obviously, just less efficient). Hence we continue with versility for increase of efficiency. Increase of gil/hour. To experience endgame as a mage and to experience endgame as a paladin kiting a god around a huge circle. Which is why some of us are still focusing on leveling while others are focused on pulling as much as possible out of our one job. So people like me have gained rather little for instance out of my 73 paladin compared with other paladins who want to "see all" and "do all" with themselves before starting up their next job.
 
It's funny, the other day was listening to a lecture about modern European history and the prof was going over World War 1's causes. I don't know if anyone else can see this parallel but it almost seems like the same thing has happened right on this thread. By arguing so much I became the "hegemonic" state like Germany making myself the main target. Admittedly I have a big ego and therefore others with rather large egos wanted to do battle with me.

This isn't meant as a flame but it has been in my head these last 10 minutes and I'm wondering if any other history buffs find it amusing.

on a note. 75 lvl EXP has not changed. It remains at 45,000 or was it 44,000 to 76. So those with a buffer can sigh with relief for what it's worth.
 
75's do already have their rewards. If you haven't done anything with 75, why would anyone expect you to have done something with it if you had the xp reduction? So you want reparations for doing nothing with your level 75 job while claiming that you would have done something with it if it would have been easier? Or do you simply want to stave off people getting to where you are because you hope to do something with something you've done nothing with thus far?

Either way, you've gotten your reward pre-update unless you leveled from 1 to 75 last week. If you've been 75 for months or years, there's your reward. The new players will never have that. Whether you're happy with your reward is up for debate and dependent on person to person, but if you want paid for something you didn't do but should have, would have, and could have...things just don't work like that. If you busted your balls getting to 75 and haven't been using your reward for that, that's tough cookies. You were offered your reward and didn't take it. Now you want paid, and it's too late. You had as much as 2 years to enjoy your reward that was you. At 75. Being 75. Doing 75.

Unless you leveled to 75 in hopes of demanding reparations for every post-ding update your entertainment developers made, this is all more than a little silly. The reward you're missing is that when you get to 75 earlier, you're 75 longer.

I am about to level for the first time in 2 months. I am about to wet myself.

Considerign the gorups I was getting normally, this shaves off at least 3 - 4 hours each level I have left.
 
Personally being that Ive invested over a year into this game and only attaining lvl 62 and a few misc. other job even above 20 (Not Including Sujob) I welcome this with open arms. My reasoning? Between School, Work, and the Air Force I find that I miss out on a LOT in this game 'cause I fall behind most of the people I used to hangout with (In game) 'cause unlike myself they have a vast amount of time to play.

So what if you've gotten 60+ and this pisses you off, you may have more time to play then other people and part some people quit and move on to other games 'cause it takes too long to reap any of the real perks of the game.

SE is lookin out for the people that are paying to play not the Kids that have nuthin but time on their hand. It's (In a small way) just Buisness if ya ask me.

Try reading from the beginning before you speak to something you know nothing about.

You chime in, post page 30, and nothing good has been said for more than 15 pages. If you actually read from the beginning, you'll see the discussion that once took place. You'll see Fire flame people and me try to calm things down...Repeatedly.

So why don't you shut-a-your pie-a-hole. :idea:
