I have been playing this game for a about a month now and find it completely addicting in its offline be a pro mode. The mode has been hailed one of the best be a pro modes ever created and all my friends that hate hockey cant help but play this game. It has more features packed into a sports game than I have ever seen before, obviously EA has just created the best sports hockey game to date. (As every magazine agrees)

Though the best part is the online league where you can take your created be a pro character and make a dressing room with as many friends as you want to play games. You can have up to 6 friends on your team during a game at once so its unbelievably fun and addicting. As you play online you receive grades from how you do and get an overall grade score in which you can unlock attribute bonuses to add to your player.

Does anyone have this game on Xbox 360 and interested in joining my team? I have 4 friends from my actual hockey team in real life play with me but I was hoping to have some of you fellas hop in. Always a good time to play with QCDN folks from back in the day especially haha.

I honestly hate hate hate hate Be a Pro mode. I'd rather be playing all the time, and in control of more than one person overall, so when the AI does something really stupid I can recover instead of not having anything to do about it.
In general, the game's AI for the opposing team is really good, while your team is still in the Stone Age or something. Especially the damn goalies. The player selection algorithm seems to be ridiculous too, since 3/5 times if the play goes the other way with a slight bit of speed, and I hit the change player button, I get a player who is for all intents and purposes out of the play.

It's still a fun game, but the AI just ruins Be a Pro mode. It's still got its fair share of problems, but it's getting there to be a good hockey game.
