Yah, you didn't say check other NIN, just look at other NIN... Because as well all know, there is a huge difference.

If by leading, you mean acting like a complete intolerable asshole and spouting insults every third word, yes, you are leading a "discussion". Wait, normally in discussions, aren't people civil? Oh and don't they usually use evidence other than "I saw someone once do something that might make my weak argument seem valid enough to keep bitching so I don't seem like a complete and utter douche with sand in my vagina all the time"? They have Zanshin, can get away with subbing rng (+20-some accuracy), don't rely on their melee swings to do 60-70% of their damage like nin, and don't rely on their melee swings for all of their TP.

Mnk has focus, and Asuran Fists has much, much higher accuracy than Jin.

Both jobs also have 7 more base skill at 75 than ninja. When 5 accuracy doesn't make a big difference,15 accuracy doesn't either. That's when you put on AF(+1) body for melee, because 8% more swings and 5-6% faster TP > 6% more damage per swing.
