I really feel sorry for the kids having to deal with those names. They might not get picked on when they go to elementary school but once they get into middle school they might have some problems. Plus finding a job when you have to put down "Adolf Hitler Campbell" on your application might not be too much fun.

They're adorable children, its too bad their parents are fucking morons.

What really pisses me off is this claim "We have swastikas and other Nazi paraphenelia in our home, as well as name our children after Nazi themes, but we swear we're not Neo Nazis or anything!"

Right.

The fuck... "They're just names, its not like they're going to hurt anybody"....

'The Campbell's said they wanted unique names for their children...'

Okay.

"Moon-Unit" is a unique name. "Peekaboo" is a unique name. Those people, real people, are completely normal and not named after mass-murdering racists that were hell-bent on genocide.

What. The. Fuck.

Those kids are in for a rough life. Dick parents.

Seeing "JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell" makes me feel better about wanting to name my kid "Robocop Predator."

After reading this I don't feel so bad about wanting my kids to have an old school Roman name. I guess the only bad one I can think of atm is Caligula lol.

Heath Campbell said he doesn't want to force his views on his children, in part because he had views forced on him.

I could almost buy the claim that it’s just a symbol that he likes, but the kids names and wearing Nazi boots tells me it’s not just a Sanskrit symbol, yo. I can walk around wearing offensive symbols if I want, but to impose that on your kids is pretty fucked up.

You can only hope these kids somehow get involved with caring adults through school or something. They are desperately going to need someone to teach them that what they're living with at home is NOT ok, but also not their fault. Then when they turn 18 I hope they change their names to something normal like Amy and Bill.

i guess now "Apple" doesn't seem like a bad name for i kid does it. :)

Only a person that is dedicated to details will know that the swastikas were not invented by the Nazis, they just adopted the symbol for whatever their reason was for doing so, therefore demonizing it. And we all know that when they read something people always go looking for the finer print right? The parents, unless they are truly stupid, know full well the implications of the 3 names they have given to their otherwise lovely children. the boy already hesitates when asked his name, that alone is a tell tail sign of what he will have to endure in the future when he learns the truth about his namesake.

but personal pet peeve moment for me, what the hell made them pick Aryan Nation as a name? think I'll name my first daughter "United Nations" instead of Amber like I planned. how bot you guys?

I look at it this way - the father is some punk who thought it was cool to rebel against his 'guardians' and admire the Nazis and Hitler. He thinks he's some bad ass because he names his son after Hitler, then names his other two after Nazi themes. His wife is also probably some immature loser who thinks that they're going to shock the world with their crazy and rebellious ways.

But oh no - they are good parents! They drive around in a car with a swastika because it's not really representing the Nazis. No no, they're using it as the Indian symbol for Good Luck. They really aren't tryign to teach their kids about the nazis, despite their names reflecting Neo Nazi beliefs and their house has paraphenila representing Nazi Germany. How DARE we associate their swastika symbols with Nazism!?

It's exactly as Zalt says. You can argue until you are blue in the face that the swastika symbol represents what it used to before WW2, but when you have other indications refering back to Nazis, it's pretty fucking far fetched, especially when the swastika on your car is accompanied by a skull and fire. I am quite sure that is EXACTLY what the original good luck symbol was supposed to look like. God damn it -_-

Heh. I wonder if the state can find a way to take them away a few years down the line when they develop terrible emotional trauma from going to school with a name like Adolf. Do people in Germany even use that name anymore? Either that or they'll just be bigots like their parents presumably are and not care either way.

Ever read those sci-fi novels where in the future overpopulated society you either have to prove yourself or pass tests or something in order to have kids? The idea is looking better all the time...

dude I am totally going to name my kid Satan.

Be brazen and name your child Shithead - pronounced "Shəth-eed"

I will name my kid Charles Manson in hopes that he will have a large family

The guy looks like he's a recovering meth addict and the wife looks like a desperate nut

Also I guess Adolf Hitler is a pretty big endorsement for the Wii

Yes, there needs to be a license to breed.

I agree with you but there are also license's for things like guns and we all know how many stupid people bypass those laws.

To be fair, it's a lot harder to hide a child than it is to hide a gun. You'll eventually have to get it schooled, and that means paper work that goes through education boards. Government bodies :V

Oh, I meant more like finding ways to get around needing a license. lol.
