...When I am in a party and we are hitting chain 4/5 constantly...When I am on my way to meet my party and they have been waiting patiently for me while I travel the distances...

I have had some real jerks recently give me shit for not giving them a D2...because "it'll only take a minute!"

Most of the time I play in a static...we are a VERY fast moving static. We have VERY VERY little downtime. I've actually had players who were standing there watching how fast our puller goes give me shit for not disbanding...starting a party with them...sending them on their merry way (minus 150 mp for me). Why should i put 5 others out (6 including me...hell with 20k tnl...i wanna get xp as fast as possible) for one person who forgot to bring a warp scroll or didn't have the foresight to get or ask the blm in their own party?

Yesterday I was invited to an already established party in Boyhada tree. I get to the tree and the MOMENT i zoned in...i get a tell asking me for a D2. Now..I don't have a map of the tree and usually get lost a bit before finding my way and my party had already been waiting for a while for me so I told this guy that I was sorry but my party was waiting and wished him well. Welll he just starts being an ass about it...God man..have some pride...begging is NOT cool...trying to BULLY me into it?? I don't fuckin think so...

So go ahead and ask me...but if i tell you politely that I am not able...say thanks and leave me the hell alone!

Here Here! I second all of that. I have anon on 90% of the time because of people like that. Bastards, get a goddamn warp scroll if you really need warp that bad. Just because I'm a BLM doesn't mean I have to warp you.

On the flip side I will often do d2s when I have anon up for people politely shout for them when I am not busy.

If I really need one I usually just put out a shout with a reward....if I get no tells I try to sneak out (rather unsuccessfully most of the time). I'm trying to save Conquest points for sexy federation gear if I ever hit rank 10!! Ja-Root!

Sometimes my friends tell me to send out /tells but I don't think it's right...if they really wanted to warp me they'd respond to my shout!

I also keep anon on most of the time...however people can usually figure out who the blm is pretty quickly...lol Especially once you get your AF gear. I've even responded to people that my party would be taking a short break in about 10 minutes and if they'd like to wait I'd be happy to do it then and STILL gotten shitty attitude back...at which point I'm done with them...

Think the best thing to do is to /anon and if they still ask tell em you're not that class, despite what equipment says. >P

I'm already going anonymous to avoid power level requests and people begging me to pull monsters off them, which I'll do if I actually see something happening in front of me. But I still have to figure it's easier than being a WHM and having everyone plead for a teleport.

this is why I hide my AF always keep your RSE handy it will stop alot of that, /anon in RSE and a sleep dagger they can't tell what you are, figure your just a a RDM, just a trick I have picked up ^^

Believe me when I say that it's MUCH MUCH worse than Tele or Raise. Ive been on both sides of that coin. If they are an ass, just tell them you'll D@ them for 10k. Most of the people that are asses and are also unprepared, dont have 10k either. A temp blist add never hurt either. Oh and kiere?

One day, probably 4 or 5 before I quit, I was doing infinity core runs in Crawlers Nest. It goes quick, and I was a gimpy little guy, didn't even have blm to 17... lol. But anyway. I mean 4 cores would take 5minutes. I didn't have the CP for scrolls because I hadn't partied in a month. So there was a party near me with a lv40 or so BLM. So I offered him 1k for a D2. It was a real good party, I could tell. So he asked if I could wait and I said sure. So I was waiting they probably chained 5 before they had anydown time. So while he D2'd me I said thank you very much, gave him 1500 gil and a refresh for his troubles. He probably d2'd me 4 or 5 times that day.. Lol.

People who demand D2s suck. I mean, if I'm in an exp zone, I'm exping! I'm not there to be a warp whore.

I even got slack for this!!!! People are like, 500 is too much. I mean, too much???? that's pretty much the going rate. Plus, its not even worth my time to open up a trade screen for anything less!! I'm not out to gouge people either. It's just the principle of the matter. If you're demanding something from me and making me take time out of my exp party, you should suffer a little. Someone said, oh put it up to 5k if you don't want to be bothered. It's not about the money. It's just the principle. I am not a easy warp whore.

I got a tell the other day when I was exping at the bottom of the Garliage citadel and a guy asks for a warp 2. Level 34 Samarai. He expected me to escape and come out to warp his ass!! I told him, I'm levelling in the basement. He's like, oh, I"m at the entrance... Ok.. So what? Like I'm going to leave my party, and come warp your ass because you can't walk across ONE zone. He ended up saying "I'll probably end up dying if I come ot the basement" Fine by me. Saves me 150mp.

I think from now on, I think my rejection line will go something like this. "I'm exping right now, if you want to interrupt that, you can pay everyone else in the party 500 gil" I want to see how well that goes over. At least my party is compensated for their lazy request.

You just said that u are chaining fast as hell and that u have no downtime still lol 1 or 2 mins dun make a difference at all if u warp 2 someone.I always allow blms in my party to warp 2 someone cuz it never really Increases ur downtime.
