Official 2009 NBA Playoffs

Lebron has always been good, but this year he's been great. It's because he played with Kobe in the Olympics. He saw the work ethic and stepped up his game.

Kobe vs. Lebron is hard to compare. Lebron is 6'8 260lbs lol. He runs a 4.4 forty. No man has never has had the athleticism that Lebron has in the NBA...ever. You can name players, but I won't buy it. Lebron, because of genetics will probably be the greatest NBA of all time talent wise.

So comparing these two is kind of dumb as to who's the greatest. I mean one is much older and much more miles on his legs now, yet the debate is still there, which is a testament to Kobe. One is 25, and a physical beast, and is asked to do much more in his offense then the other. Kobe did what the greats did, especially Jordan; He learned to become a great shooter later in his years. He learned to turn it on in the 4th qt.

I would never actually try to say one is better then the other but it will definitely be an interesting finals with the two of them.

Wait...what the fuck...Lebron can run a 4.40 40yd? Some list has Jordan doing a 4.3...That seems unreal.

Anyways...everyone wants Lakers-Cavs for the finals...wouldnt be that surprised if it turned out to be Nuggets-Magic though. I am a bit dissapointed that the Nuggets lost last night...I feel like that was their best shot to steal home court from the Lakers and they (read: Chauncey Billups) let it slip through their fingers. Was a great game though, can only hope the rest of the series is that entertaining.

That's because NBA athletes are probably best in the world outside of some Soccer players. These guys can really fly. They benefit from freakish builds, which most NBA players have.

And as we see tonight... Lebron is no where near the finisher Kobe is. Incredible game for Lebron and i love the dude.. Why pass that ball though man, you are Lebron James..

There's two schools of thought, and both are criticized when you lose. If Delonte makes that 2nd 3pt shot(keep in mind he made that exact shot on that exact play 30 seconds earlier), everyone is praising Lebron's team mentality and his unselfishness. If he shoots some out-of-control shot and misses wildly, everyone would call for him to pass the ball instead of forcing a shot. Just the way it goes.

Also, you can be a "closer" without shooting 30 times a game like Kobe, lol. If I have one shot to make, I'd probably take Kobe, yeah, but I'd still rather start my team around Lebron. Even if the whole game was the 4th quarter, I'd still take Lebron. Kobe's 40 point game got so blown out of proportion lol. He scored 40 points on 28 shots, that's not good. That's average. Look at 'Melo, scoring 39 on 20 shots. It's not like Kobe has the "my team sucks" excuse anymore, as he has quality players around him. The Chauncey/'Melo pair is definitely better than Kobe/Pau, but not by a huge margin.

Summary: I'm so sick of Laker fans and their ridiculous Kobe hype. Especially tired of these ridiculous MJ comparisons.

Edit: Wow, MJ ran a 4.3 40? Faster than Lebron? Doesn't seem quite right, he was fast, but pure foot speed I gotta believe Lebron is faster. Quickness goes to MJ, obviously, but I have a hard time buying he's faster than Lebron.

I cant believe that game turned out like it did. I was ready to count Magic out of the entire series the way that first half went, I'm just glad a team finally stepped up. Cavs had it WAY too easy first two rounds.

I still think Lebron should have taken more shots. It's nice that you want to get your team involved, but in the end when it's tight, sometimes you have to say fuck it and take over.

Lebron and the Cav's hadn't played in over a week. I think Cleveland wakes up and takes game 2 by ten.

At this point, I would start one around Lebron as well, no questions asked.

Defending Kobe, yeah he took 28 shots, but look at the bigger picture. He scored 18 in the first and 18 in the 4th. He started quick, and finished hot as hell. Those are very important, so yeah, I believe that means even more.

This is what i was going to post Shyrra. Kobe did put up a large amount of shots but he did not miss many in the 4th... And when he missed them he ended up at the line for 2 shots anyways... And he didnt miss them lol.

I dont know who the defender was but he fell tonight.. Then some disfigured guy was guarding Lebron like "Oh my god its just me now, that other dude fell". Lebron should have finished that game man.. I love the dude and it hurts me to see that type of crap from him.

He was definitely tired at the end of the game and was cramping up bad when it was over, could have had an impact.

Either way, if the Magic can hit a respectable number of their 3's, they can beat anyone. People were saying the Magic might steal this game, but I don't think anyone expected them to go down by 16 and come back in the end like they did. I still can't believe Lewis took that 3 point shot at the end and actually made it lol, talk about balls of steel. Glad Howard stepped up on the offensive side in the first half and kept them in the game as well, needs to exploit his clear advantage in the paint in this series. Hope this continues to be an enjoyable series.

After watching the full game, yeah if Dwight Howard gets 20-25 pts a game, that means Magic will win this series lol.

Lebron was tiring out at the end I noticed. It was Lebron vs. The Magic.

OH MY FUCKING GOD...

I cant believe that just happened!!! I was all pumped ready for them to go to Orlando up by 2, then LeBron once again shows why he is king...wow just wow wow wow wow

OH MY FUCKING GOD...

That was awesome. Lebron is one fun kid to watch.

lol and we were just saying he should take the last shot.

Fucking retarded...should have never allowed him to get the ball in his hands and Turko was way off him. Wasn't really that great of a shot when you look at it, weren't any hands actually in his face, definitely a makeable shot. Of course the circumstances will lead to it being replayed every ten seconds on ESPN tomorrow.

Cavs look pretty bad honestly though...I mean they should of lost a game that they were leading by 23 points and the Magic weren't even playing *that* well. Just hope this doesn't deflate them...definitely a heartbreaking loss.

Both conference finals continue to put out great games though, been fun to watch so far.
