Official FFXIV benchmark.

WOOO i Got myself a new video card yesterday and onceits gets here i think i'll be albe to play FFXIV just fine! Esspecially after looking at the recomended settings.

I havea 2.4ghz Quad core Processor which is under the recommended settings but abovethe minimum system requirments!

Currently i have a Nvidia Gefroce 9500 GS... as peice of crap as far s a VId Cards go... BUT yesterday i purchased a new Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 1gig which will blow the crap out of my old card

I have to upgrade my Power Supply but A contact at Best Buy is hooking me up with a deal.

once i get it all hooked up i cant wait to see what i benchmark at

That's the best one they have right now isn't it?

pretty damn close best part is it was only 229.99 instead of like 400+

My score on low end was like 321.. Ouch.

AMD Turion II Dual-Core ~2.3GHz
4gb DDR3 RAM
ATI 4200 HD 1gb DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 64-bit Home Prem.
Directx 11 etc

Not sure why the Benchmark hurts so bad. I run Crysis near max, WoW at max (full shadows) and most Valve games (i.e. L4D 1 / 2, Portal, Half Life 2 and DLC). A lot of people are saying it's messed up right now anyway but I dunno. I hope my comp can run it when it comes out.. Else I play like a laggy bitch, because I'm sure as hell getting it as soon as I can since I'm pre-ordering the collectors.

it's all a marketing ploy by SE and Nvidia to make everyone panic into new video cards lol

i would have believed that if i hadnt found the video card and decided to buy it befor e the recommended specs cam out :P

Apparently the SLI/Crossfire capability hasn't been added yet, though supposedly they're at least considering it.

Tried it on my own crossfire rig earlier in this thread.
No.

This benchmark also holds no further value for me.
I just bought some new stuff, went from an Intel Q6600 (2.4Ghz) to an AMD Phenom II 945 (3.0Ghz).
Both Quad core CPUs.

The benchmark gives the exact same results on both low and high.
Yes tested multiple times!

3dmark Vantage rates my current config 3000 points higher than my previous.
Which is nearly a 20% increase.

Im not going to trust the benchmark, as long as specs match or better the minimum requirement then im pretty sure itl work :P.

yeah my laptop got a 300 something on the benchmark as well, but it runs the beta fine(not on max settings tho)

so I wouldn't worry to much.

Gotthe New GPU up and running and just ran the benchmark.. 2704!! I can Play the game!! Sadly it wasnt as high as i though it would be but without replacing the motherboard im restricted by my my processor which is sadly an AMD Phenom 2.4ghz Quad core..

If it was a Phenom II that would be a diffrent story.. but alas I CAN PLAY THE GAME WOOOOO

So, I assembled my new computer yesterday, and I scored a 4700 on the benchmark (High) without OC'ing, and I think about 7000 on the Low one - quite nice I think. I can even run Starcraft II with max settings and keep an FPS of about 180 xD

For anyone that has been worrying about Crossfire it does work in the Beta (still no luck in the benchmark (unless you use the .dll hack). Crossfire is only working in full screen mode for me, but that is better than not at all (like the benchmark). I know SLI has been having some issues mainly because the cards involved have been hitting insanely high temps.

Hmm Gee, I think I need to eat some of my words.
Crossfire does work with that patch, and how! o.O

I've just put the last hand to my system's upgrade and boy it is an improvement compared to my old specs.

New Specs:
- AMD Phenom II P945 (3.0Ghz)
- 6GBs DDR3 Ram @1600Mhz
- Intel X25-V Solid State Hard drive (40GB)
- 2x Ati Radeon HD4890 in crossfire setup
Results:
