Thats been out for awhile man, like since the beta. It sucks ass though, slow as hell, semi powerful but no zoom anymore. I didn't like it at all.
 
Thats what i get for getting an xbox on e-bay. It took too long to ship so i missed the beta by like 3 weeks.
 
yeah but that was the beta, that was also a section of the game we were not supposed to be able to see, and if you looked at the sword graphics they were stiff and incomplete, so that stuff can change since that was unfinished product we were messin with.
 
Wait, I thought they said the pistol would have the original zoomable aim? If not, that sucks :/ That thing in Halo 1 was almost as beast as the sniper rifle if you're quick.
 
I'm positive the Pistol will have zoom. I just think the one in the beta was not finished or something cause everyone wants Halo:CE Pistol back :D
 
The halo:ce pistol was also ridiculously over powered though and i doubt they will bring it back to where it was then. And yeah, i hope they do change it cause spiker and pistol could be pretty bad ass, but as it is now (was at the beta) the pistol blows.
 
Agreed, I hope the bring to a level where Its not too overpowerd or sucks bad. I'm pretty sure bungie realised this already after the beta (and many other things) Im talking about needler if you used during the beta lmao

i dunno, after how weak the needler has been for 2 games, i dont think i can call that overpowered, hell you cannot even dual wield them!

Yeah, for 2 games its sucked, and in the beta you couldn't even dual wield ,but I remember you could kill a person maybe less than half a clip burst. It shot faster and the needles would produce much more damage. I even beat a dude 1v1 me needler him BR.
 
yeah i saw that video lastnight lol, i could only laugh.

but the needler is really powerful this time around, and besides an idea of balance, i think the needler deserves a time to shine!
 
Triple wielded needlers vs. a sniper rifle was always a good time for me.
 
I'm still just happy they made the AR good. It's the best starter weapon now. If youre good with it an know how to use it, you can rape with it, but its def not the best gun out there. I liked having it and a BR combo. Shoot with the BR till they got close enough then switch to the AR and finish em if they got closer.
 
I welcome to Needler gettin' a boost. If you're good with it, which most people are not, you deserve a treat. That weapon is one of the easiest to get away from and the hardest to use efficiently, imo. I just hope the BxR trick doesn't work this time around. That shit is so lame. Probably will be encouraged though now since most of the Halo 2 pros live and die by it.

Raider; what do you mean by the AR being good -now-? That thing was amazing in Halo 2 so I can't see it being any better in 3. The only thing that could make it better is havin' to use less burst to kill someone. That'd be badass because in Halo 2 it's way to many burst to kill someone. It should at least be two to the face three to the body, at least. How are the Mongoose weapons? From the videos they seem to be pretty weak. I can't wait to get my hands on the lazer gun personally :p

the needler is a skill weapon yes, BXR was really only a battlerifle glitch that was due to an animation glitch, it will not be there thist time around.

as for the AR, strid lol, the AR was not in halo 2! It was in halo1 but removed for halo 2, and is now making its return as a much improved weapon.
The mongoose does not have a weapon, your best weapon in a mongoose is a passenger with a gun or runnin people over. The laser gun is awesome, but is something that takes quite some time to get down, its not as easy as it looks, accuracy is difficult to achieve, and it charges up so theres no quick shot if someone comes up on you before you charge it. i HATED the laser some times, but once i got it down i loved it.

Eh, I call the rifle with a scope the Assault Rifle because... it's a fuckin' Assault Rifle XD You'll have to forgive my Halo lingo, I'm not a fan (only 73 logged games of Halo 2).


The mongoose does not have a weapon, your best weapon in a mongoose is a passenger with a gun or runnin people over. The laser gun is awesome, but is something that takes quite some time to get down, its not as easy as it looks, accuracy is difficult to achieve, and it charges up so theres no quick shot if someone comes up on you before you charge it. i HATED the laser some times, but once i got it down i loved it.

There is a new weapon in the game that resembles a pistol, somewhat, with a bayonet lookin' piece (but it's not a bayonet) on the bottom. For some reason I recall videos and magazines calling it a Mongoose :/ Either way, that's what I'm talkin' about.
 
Yeah AR seems noice. I wonder if they also Took out quad shot in H3, i pwned kids with that lol.

No, thats the Battle Rifle (BR). Assault Rifle (AR) was, like chas said, in halo 1 and removed for h2. It kinda sucked in Halo 1 though, definitely no where near as good as the pistol which always upset me so i'm glad its dec in H3.

Lol, no. The mongoose is the new "mini" warthog that seats to people. Its basically an ATV. The pistol with a bayonet is the Brute Spiker, but its not a pistol its an SMG, basically the cov version of the smg.


And for someone who talks shit about halo, you really dont know that much about it.
