PS3 Official "inFamous" Thread

Oh shit man, the good ending was badass.

Third island seems kind of glitchy. Lots of camera spins and I even fell through the world once.

I have two or three side missions left to clear the third island, but there are no yellow "mission" markers on my map. I've been running around the hostile zone trying to find a hidden package mission or something like that but i can't find anything. Is there a trick to getting to these? I don't want to finish the game until I clear the rest of the island. They are at the southwest point of the Historic District.

Hell ya! found all the rocks ^^ now I just have to beat the game and then do the game in evil hard mode and I'll have all the achievements <3

Something really cool I found out during my second play through. Right after you finish the bridge mission where you meet Moya there the game auto changes it's difficulty based on how well you do before.

Really? Hmmm, I didn't know that :P so then how do you keep it on hard the entire time? :(

If it auto changes for you after the bridge it will remain on hard until you manually change it. You also get the trophy for completing the game on hard if you leave the setting alone after the game auto changes it.

I was wondering that my first playthrough Pas. You just gotta beat the last boss on that island and it gives you like a 25% clear rate. So you may already have them all done, just need to beat the actual boss. If you don't think the game stays open ended after you beat him so you can still look for it.

Thanks. I'll make a second save file and just finish the game and see what happens. I think 25% will finish the island out for me, though.

Spoiler:
Holy shit O.O the ending was so fun <3 and so great. I shoulda seen that plot twist coming honestly but I just didn't cause I guess I wasn't focusing on it so much XD but it was still good. Clearly going to be an Infamous 2 coming out with so much stuff left out there to be a problem against our hero/anti-hero protagonist <3 and still gotta learn how the end of the world he's now got to prevent is to come and such! Can't wait.

Ending spoilers

Spoiler:
The endings are the exact fucking same. Trish still dies regardless of what path you choose. Kessler still makes you see the future/past he created to mold you into a hero and it ends like that. There is zero difference. The fuck man, the fuck.

Spoiler:
aww that sucks :( but every game that has "dual stuff" seems to make this happen... it'd be nice if, from the start, they had different paths so that they could, if the series successful, allow to create sequels and have divergent timelines. It lets them keep the series fresh imo and try different things instead of potentially repeating the same story over and over again

Oh well... :(

Spoiler:
I kinda figured that's how it would be. I think I remember reading a review somewhere that said there really wasn't much difference in the story whether you were good or evil.

Finally finished my good playthrough last night.
Spoiler:
Kessler was kinda tough until I figured out my shield could block his super-blast.
After the ending I still had two small areas that were hostile in the historic district, but the first guy I killed in each of them gave me a hidden package mission.

I only have one more "good" power upgrade to do and then I can get the trophy for having all of them upgraded. It is taking forever to find enough guys to net me the last 2k exp I need. I'm trying to perform as many stunts on them as I can to make this take less time.

I only have one stunt left, but it is the one where you have to blast three guys off the roof at once, and I can't find anywhere where there are multiple guys on the roof anymore. If I do that one stunt in my evil playthrough, will that count as my last one for the trophy? Or will I have to do all of them again?

Good game, though. I can't wait to play through as evil so I don't have to worry about flipping cars onto civilians.

What would sound like the simplest stunt turns out to be the hardest. And, I think you need to do them all again unfortunately, but maybe it'll be easier because the uncaptured areas will have more enemies again to knock off buildings.

you'd have to do them all again.

You can find 3 guys on the roof sometime spawn by Zeke's place :P but not sure how often they are there. Shoulda done it during the mission with Alden's Tower :P was so easy to get 3 lined up and BLAST!

Edit: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/767-inFamous holy crap, even Yahtzee says infamous is "good, great even" and lol at the end comment "finally a hero in a sandbox game that can justify why he can't swim" XD

Fantastic game. I'm sitting here finishing up some trophy's after the finishing the story. I have 349/350 blast shards collected. I've combed the map, block by block, looking for these things. I think the shard I need is behind a gate I can't open.

Spoiler:
It is the gate to the bridge that you "cause a riot/attack the police in the open" right before you get caught/recruited by Moya.

I checked an online map and it appears there is one in there and I can't remember grabbing any shards or dead drops while running through there. Sitting at 349/350 I am not going through this again on my hard/evil run through. Uggh. Can someone run by there and see if they can open it by charging the door? Maybe I am glitching. *crosses fingers*

the shard down there is the very first shard you get. impossible to miss.

Man, I guess I'll wander around a bit and try to finish off my stunts and hopefully run across it. I swear my L3 button is probably going to break from wear and tear. :D

did you get the one that was out in the water-ish area?

There are quite a few located near water. Need input...
