Bzzt. "Everyone" isn't just PC users. 360 and PS2 users cannot use those either.

It's still not cheating when SE tells players it's ok to use it. Also, can't the 360/PS2 users plug in a USB keyboard/mouse to control their game or at least type? If so, they have the exact same opportunity as a PC player to use a G15 keyboard.
 
the reason the "official" windoer doesnt have plugins is because SE couldnt figure out how to do what we had for months/years.
 
Hiring the people who made Windower was too hard I guess....

How so? You can't set up what the macro buttons do on a 360/PS2, because you can't run the program to do so.

If anything, this thread is letting us know who used Windower beyond Windowed mode and Screenshots. Since they've posted they can't use their cheats with the built in windowed mode.

A Matter of Pride maybe? Maybe SE doesn't want to ask for some help from the people who made the 3rd party windower.

Its not that they couldn't figure out how to do it (believe me, its not hard). Its just that they couldn't find a good way to implement it with the current UI.

As they've said before, they've thought about changing the current UI, but the one they made didn't look good, so they're going back to remake it again. I believe they also said they'd let us edit how the UI looks ourselves when its done.

There's a reason everyone is at fafnir. News flash, it ain't a.hands or hrotti's or your gilfinder gloves. This has been the most sought-after item for melee for years. Thus the competition to get it. There's competition within linkshells for it. People aren't spending 150 points for an aegischjalmr, people will for a Ridill. Its not broken, because you can't just equip it and do killer damage...and if you downgrade it, it'd be as worthless as a joyeuse, which you have argued on many occasions is a great piece of equipment for WAR.

It's broken because it does multi-hits without any loss to damage while any other end level weapon (in reference to Baja's comment) with that same effect has considerable loss to base DMG or such crappy latents that it's not worth bothering. It's odd that SE would only give a few jobs access to such a great weapon and completely neglect the other 10+ jobs with any other comparable counterpart. Don't you think it's odd that SE doesn't offer anything else similar or any multi-hit weapon since has such a drastic loss in base damage? Don't forget, the sword was created in a time before sushi and merits existed where it couldn't exactly be fully utilized without spending as much as you would upgrading a relic. Probably the only reason it hasn't been fixed is because it's that rare and because it keeps a ton of people busy seeking that same item.

And really, did I not expect you to bring up the joyeuse argument again? Perhaps you'd like to go back and reread that thread again and correct yourself. I never said anything about a Joyeuse being great, I said I think it sucked, but I also disagreed that giving half ass info and neglecting facts to an argument will only weaken the veracity of your claim. But I guess the part where I stated agreeing with you in the very post you quoted went entirely over your head. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Baja, Mercurial Pole is a drop of Jorm and if it was worthwhile to actually kill him for the pole, it'd be as rare as Herald Gaiters are which is pretty rare. Again, the rarity is not why it's broken, it's why it stays broken. Why fix something which effects so little? Or rather, why fix it when so little will have it, yet so many spend countless hours seeking it?

And I'm trying to stop it. Its a hell of a lot easier to read one thread dealing with related topics then jumping between 9 different threads.

Then why jump between them? Read the latest one. This update thread was yesterday's emergency, so why bother reading this one still?

This morning when I logged on there were 15 threads in GD with new posts in them, all semi-related. Look at the windower problem threads: There's a flame, and two threads all talking about windower information and disgust. Add to that the QCDN derail factor that occurs in every thread, and its near-impossible to quickly find out any solid information when you're jumping between 3 threads dealing with the same information.

Edit: And the update deals with the USB problem, which is causing the the Windower disgust for the most part. There is two posts about these. 5 threads for one topic.

The flame is someone that dislikes it, and I can't find a Windower thread in Good Times.

Yesterday's emergency maintenance thread (read: this one) contains yesterday's problems. So naturally today's thread (read: the other one) contains today's problems and what's fixed. That way, we can let this one die. But you seem to be hellbent on keeping it alive.

dvdboxoffice.com still say they're getting it today. They're Canadian, so I assume it takes 1 day longer to ship it there then to the stores in NA, since they still didn't get the xbox360 version and PS2 version of the game.

Best-case scenario, I get it on Friday. Worst-case, I get it December 3rd /sigh. I payed $24 extra for fast shipping, so it better be the lower part of the 2-8 days shipping. Mail service in Sweden is fast, so once it arrives to Sweden I'll get it before 10AM the following day, so it all depends on if Canada's mail service is good or not.
