While talking to Level 5 about the studio's next big role-playing game for the U.S., White Knight Chronicles, I inquired about the status of an old favorite, the Dark Cloud RPG series.

"At this moment we don't have a specific plan for a sequel in the Dark Cloud series," Level 5's Yoshiaki Kusuda told me at the Tokyo Game Show last week.

But there's always a glimmer of hope with these things, silver linings to, uh, dark clouds. Here you go: "There are many staff members, including myself at Level 5, who have worked on the Dark Cloud series," he told me through a translator. "There are some who decided to join Level 5 because they love the Dark Cloud series. So, if requests from users should increase in the future, we would seriously consider making it."

I hear people asking for a Dark Cloud 3 all the time, it's probably Level 5's most asked for title, so please, Dark Cloud 3.
 
Well, since they seem to operate on user feedback, I'd say it's worth a shot.

Except humoring those of us who'd prefer the original voice track with subtitles... It's a Blu-ray disc, come the hell on.

I know I know.. but I just want it so bad and taking so long to come out makes me go :(
 
Man my excitement for this game use to be a 10 but now it is probably a 6. This delay in release make actually make the game better but in some ways I can't help but to believe that it has hurt it as well.

I wonder if someone at Level 5 actually took a good look at the available armor and said, "Yeah, that's cool looking!" It all looks like it was made from drapes and tablecloths from the Renaissance Era.

Lookin' forward to the game, I think, but not so much the time I'll probably spend loot and rank grinding to get some shitty lookin' threads and metals.
 
Sony is definitely making sure that this will get more widely known, for one, there is an upcoming costume and sticker pack coming to LBP based on WKC;

I got my strategy guide for it in today. I'm just friggin' stoked for the 2nd now. There is so much fun lookin' stuff to do I don't even care if I look like shit doin' it. This game has A LOT of replay value. They were not kiddin', if looks aren't deceiving me, the story isn't even a tiny fraction of the game. The Story walkthrough is only 98 pages of mostly huge pictures and maps.
 
The third costume in line looks like something I'd use if I could be assed to buy LBP.
This comes out over here this coming Tuesday, and I cannot wait.

I love Level 5 but no money to order this, gah.
Maybe I can scrounge something up, well for the game, I'll pick up a bluetooth headset later on.
 
Will this be worth the 3 year wait? Probably not. Will it be worth the $60? No doubt. I put this game out of my mind because waiting for it was just too painful but finally we get this motherfucker. Can't wait.

I'll add you to my flist when I get a chance. Me and two of my friends are getting this, but hopefully I can play with some QCDN bros sometime.
 
Preordered, I had a $10 credit from Amazon so I am getting it for something like $46. I look forward to playing it.

I prolly won't get it Wednesday since I import it from the states. I'm hoping to have it before Friday.
