Okay, To invite, or not to invite?

Think half the time that issue happens, when someone invites you and then like a few minutes later they say sorry is becuase either their "d/c'd" person has come back. Honestly if you invite someone though and your other person decided to come back and they have been offline for a certain amount of time, their loss and shouldn't have to deny the person you just invited to party. Its rude and some people spends hrs lfp and that just ticks them off even more.

Depending on the job I'm looking for..like a whm (wait i was a smn lol) anywhoo if I needed a whm, I would rush saying "hello! party?" just to claim that person before anyone else does to say "HE/SHE'S MINE GET YOUR OWN" :p cause there never seems to be a healer when I needed one.

But everyone else I either said "hello party?" then followed with the setup.

Invited a galka BLM last night (name escapes me), I was like... meh galka...blm. /invite, so he showed up to camp wearing nothing but galka RSE, bastokan ring, and an empress band. Insta-booted. And he asked me WHY!

I told the guy /c <me> and you tell me...

Some people are bearable, the rest are absolutely atrocious and not worth the time.

Completely horrible thing to do. Only reasons to boot a blm, missing key spells, or "likes to melee" (and this is only after being asked not to). Spells are alot more important then "the right gear". I'm not familiar with galka RSE, but if it has INT+ on it (and of course MP+ because of them being a galka, lol) then they should've been fine. You have nice, above the average gear, that's fine, don't punish others for not having it. I btw, would out dmg most blm's when I was lvlng it, mainly because I had better gear through most of my lvls, though saving for this caused me to take 2 years to get to 75. It is a choice, not a requirement.

wth is the deal with these people? Why would you ask someone if they wanted a party, then about 5 minutes later, take back the invitation? This doesnt make any sense! And no, they didnt disband, I checked again several minutes later, and theyre still partying.

Found someone better to take me spot in the pt? Thats cool and all, but why not actually look through whos available for pt before asking? And if thats not the case, then why are you asking two people to replace one person, at the same time??

/sigh

boo hoo, I want a party :(

This will happen, and is understandable. If it didn't take alot out of your day, then it shouldn't be an issue. I think it bothered you more because of how long you were lfg (I've been there alot on BLU ; ;). I think Neve handled it well.
