Old Schoolers lolol

i kno this has nothin to do with the subject but its my thread so hahah but how many people drink n smoke herb when playin ffxi i swear its like 2435 more crazy when you do lol
 
I think I remember partying with you Mizterpayne. Not exactly sure, but you might've been on my FL for a while. I don't play at the moment because the game isn't very fun to me, and almost all of my old buddies have moved on.

Actually this IS the way it used to be. Party in Tahongi then the maze (worms are great exp), bubu and so forth. It wasnt til maybe 9-12 months ago I saw lvl 9 ppl killing lizards in dunes. No effort to make a party elsewhere, just follow the crowd to selbina and prey/beg for an invite.

I've been playing since a few months after NA PC release and I was a blm and only a blm for about 2 years after that. Now I see PL like mad, manaburns, newbies at level 60 after 2-3 months who know jack shit about anything. No exploring or effort without their hands being held by the mass of high levels.

But we high levels are the problem. Giving the newbs everything easily and PL them. They learn about endgame way too early and rush to it. We make them think that certain jobs are better so they rush to level something new. Any retards out there are OUR fault, preaching without teaching and forcing our views on them.

Mdkuser, I do agree that old schoolers do force our way of playing on the new people. The ways we preach are the most efficient, forged through years of gameplay. But we steal the fun and innocence from the newbs, just to get 1k more exp an hour for ourselves. lol ironically our motivation to level quickly through the low levels (to avoid newbs) actually makes them worse.
 
im here since the NA Release. but ive been on and off a lot, since i own my Record Label and my Dance Crew... but yea, been playin since the NA release
 
I started playing a month or 2 after release. was around the time NAs started getting AFs and posting them on the web.

As for level 75 people leveling lower jobs with bad armor... it can be due to available space, and how much gil you want to lose. To someone like me, I'd buy that 45k HQ armor, and just throw it away after since its not worth taking up AH space to sell it. And not much for armor till 20, or 29+

Still alive and lovin it. Started two months after NA release. I think i partied with you a couple of times actually. I never forget a name :)

I'm still play regularly, no plans to quit. Started 2 months before ps2 release.
Mister, were u in 1kswords or maybe even teppo's LS (dragonstone?)
 
Oh yeah, haha. I remember Mizter was kicked out of Dragonstone or Dragonwhatever the hell it was called because he told the dude that bought Angelique's account some lie about getting Gausebit grass. The dude ended up spending the whole day looking for a Magic Chocobo in Dangruf Wadi. Jesus, that day was a-lawl.
 
im around since feb 04 but i dunno if that is "vet" to anyone. havent got one job 60+ and its still fun to me. the game has changed quite a bit tho
