As I would like to flame the entire Valiance linkshell, I feel like I should probably narrow it down to the mastermind behind it all, and shouldn't put everyone to blame.
I joined a linkshell (I wasn't looking for one) that was in desperate need of mages. I don't and didn't really need anything in sky, and since I wasn't even looking for a shell, I didn't really farm all that often, but I did farm at least five times in two weeks. I also went up to a Kirin and some of the mini gods.
I was leveling my ranger in Crawlers' Nest, and the LS had said that there was going to be some minigods in an hour, so I told my party that I had 45 minutes left. I was going to be late to sky, but better late than never. My dad offered to buy me dinner as I headed into Zi'Tah, so I put Tongan on follow and he took me to the zone of Ro'Maeve. He went up to sky, and then told the linkshell that I went afk for a short time to get some food, but he was going to take me up to sky, and I would be back soon.
He finally logged onto my name, and he saw Olrox say that I was a 'worthless piece of trash' in the linkshell, and how I was only going to have one sky shell (Rawr) by the end of the night, and it was not going to be Valiance's. Then Knightblade said that he didn't like me (calling me 'it') since the beginning (I'm on his /blist). Dristen reminded them that if they kick me out, Tongan was going to leave too.
I came back and Tongan told me all of this and I finally log in. I say "Hello" well knowing what had just went down, but I still stuck around for two god fights. Then we all warped back and they said that Behemoth was going to pop soon. I finally decide that now would probably be the best time to drop the shell, and then I tell Olrox that I'm leaving, and Tongan tells Flamey that we're leaving.
They ask me to come to Behemoth, and I didn't go. Later on Neogearzx logs in and asks why I left the shell (he knew why by this point) and someone responded "We don't know, she just left." and Galiant said "maybe it was because you called her a worthless piece of trash?"
If you're going to talk about someone behind their back, make sure none of their friends are on the shell too. And if you're going to get upset because you thought I was "going to pull a Perciva" as you called it, maybe next time, check the zone I'm in before you think I'm blowing off fighting minigods.
