Omgzormg Lets Discuss New Job Possibilities Because Its Only Six Motnths Till Wotg!!1

Aw I just thought of some other ones I wanted too! :-x

One was a pottery-wheel type thing. Had the pedestal and the batteries and the clay and came with paints and you could make your own cool pottery stuff. My sister had one never let me use it. lol

That and EZ-bake oven and the snoppy sno-cone machine!

OMG I WANTED those SOOO BAD!!!

I had the pottery wheel XD it was fun!!

I think if I had the EZ bake oven, I would have been a fat kid so it was probably best off I didn't have one.

I never quite understood how a 15 watt bulb could sufficiently bake an egg-based batter into something edible.

The secret... is love.

My god, you people are old.
So very, very old.
Geezers.

Well i see the paper towels and the salt. And I saw the Captains and the tequila. Bannanas, oranges, apples... Where's the lime? :nono:

This is fun! It's like Where's Waldo!

I don't have any :/

Aging like fine wine, young buck, not old by a long shot. And damn sexy at that.

I'd say its aging more like milk.

Just kiddingggggg...

the snoppy sno-cone machine!

I still have the snoopy sno-cone machine somewhere around the house, though the syrup has long since petrified by now. Never did get much use out of it. Similar story with my Terminator 2 synthetic-skin-injection-mold...thing. I usually just battled the endo-skeletons.

Oh, and the coolest toy combination ever, Jurassic Park dinosaurs+Ghostbusters firehouse playset. If I has a nickel for every time the stomping, roaring T-rex crashed through the doors and ate an action figure, I could buy Microsoft.

Close second combo is green army men+7 American revolution figures(3 American, 4 British)+my dad's electric train. Army men were always teamed with the Americans.

God. I walked through Target last night, and went to the Toy Section.

The whole "Momma I want" stage passed through me all over again.

I restrained myself and bought a single toy (Protoform Starscream ftw), but I wanted to get so many of the Lego sets they had available. Did you know Lego now makes a castle set that has BLACK skeletons and skeleton horses?? How freaking Nordic Heavy Metal is that? :D

God it was great being a kid again :)

An ex gf and myself actually do this from time to time. We'll go to town and browse through toy isles in different stores (wal-mart, k mart, toys r us, target, etc.)

We always end up with these things we'll just mess around with for a day, then throw into the building up toy box lol.

:O I want one really bad now!

You know I'm glad you said this because earlier I was thinking about something that always kind of struck me in psychology/sociology classes. Karl Marx once said that "Religion is the opiate of the people." He was very disillusioned with organized religion because his argument was that historically, religion had been used to manipulate people into accepting ridiculous amounts of misery in their lives (from kings, rulers, opressors, etc.) under the guise of keeping your head down, bearing all, and being a "good", dutiful person, on the promise of paradise in the afterlife. He argued that people with that kind of blind faith, never questioning, never "opening their eyes" so-to-speak were basically enablers of tyranny. Pie in the sky mentality... torture me and mistreat me now but it's ok because God will save me and I'll live forever in paradise. He had a point.

Ever read "Devil on the Cross" by Ngugi wa Thiong'o? It's all about this ...quite an amazing book.

Whoops, just realized we stopped talking about exploiting the weak and have moved on to Legos.

Carry on.

My favorite Lego sets:

The original Space Shuttle
all Lego Aquanauts
Pirates
Castle

They just made Ninja sets, so I want to get some, and pit them against the Pirates....:badwords:
