I'm not up to it yet. I am slowly enjoying every single page of awesome and win that Luffy is currently doing.

Ah, I see. By the way, the anime is into movie tie in fillers at this time, I really want to see Strong World so much =)

Speaking of movie tie ins and the such, I've just started watching One Piece, up to episode 106. What is the time line in which I need to watch the movies in order to see them where they fit in? I'm sure there is a list somewhere, but I'm much to lazy and this seems right up your alley, Gerry.

I've seen only one of the movies so far and that's the re-telling movie of the Alabasta arc (Movie 8). It's rather hard to find the movies that aren't released on DVD in the US at this time, and I'd honestly prefer just waiting for the eventual release of the other movies.

Ah, thanks anyway. I went ahead and did some diggin' and general consensus is that if you watch the series the movies are pointless. The movies that don't cover the main plot, suck and have no tie ins.
 
I want to read One Piece... I really do. But God Damn, 550+ Chapters. It seems like such a mission.
 
Yeah, screw the manga. Watching it is already gettin' boring. It's the same thing over, and over, and over, but different jokes (which make the show). I couldn't imagine reading it.

Please trust me on this, it's well worth it, especially after the Arlong arc where it really starts to pick up =)
 
EP 175. No reason to try and defend it man, it's a good show I just get bored of it sometimes, unlike other long running series. It's not like I'm goin' to stop watchin' it or anything.

Well, with him being alive it would be hard for the story to conclude as Luffy being the Pirate King unless he just handed it to him. So this, while sad as I liked the guy, was rather inevitable. Luffy wouldn't kill him, due to their relationship, and it seems rather befitting that he'd die saving Luffy. What a good way for him to make an exit in my book.

Moving forward, Luffy is gonna have some rage and I feel bad for anyone in his path.
 
Ok, no new chapter next week, Oda is taking a small break to work on further chapters. I'll try and get chapter 575's spoilers up asap.

Edit: By the way, is anyone else, like me, hoping that both Hancock AND Jimbei join the Strawhats?

Chapter 576 is up on mangastream. Wow, these past four chapter have been truly memorable. Easily the best in the series thus far.
 
The only one I see joining the Straw hat crew is Mr. 2 Bon Clay. But who knows, since the anime is actually killing people now anything can happen.

BB completely tears apart the Marineford base, and pisses off Sengoku, Jimbei flees with Luffy, as Ivan and Inazuma are injured by Akainu (The Bastard!), both get injured by his MAGMA PUNCH!, Crocodile faces Akainu while he launches the both of them into the sky with Sables so Buggy (Unintentionally) catches the both of them, BB and Sengoku duke it out, The Trafalga Law shows up in a submarine and proceeds to get Jimbei to give him Luffy as, HE'S A DOCTOR! O_O

There is only ONE WAY I can say how much win Oda is made of for making this series...

Great chapter 579 can't wait for next week also I've been reading about a 1 year time skip for luffy after this arc would be pretty cool hopefully the SH return soon
