Yes...as a matter of fact I am Mielle's LS member. Good god...all I did was point out (and PLEASEEEEEE feel free to go back and read my post that Mishaela seemed a tad hypocritical). I think one could hardly call what I posted as a flame especially since she didn't see hers as one. I was merely pointing out that before you point your finger at someone else it's best to make sure you couldn't be accused of doing the same. Seems to me someone is oversensitive...after all Mishaela..I posted one small thing and you need to come back saying that I suck.. /em shrugs...just proves my point even more.

My comments are regarding a WHM over level 60(high 50s?) doing her job less than poorly, so it's probably a bunchof stuff that, I mean no offense, you just wouldn't be able to grasp yet. Early on in the game there's not much you can do, but later on (especially post-50), there's stuff you should know you should and shouldn't do, every fight, period.


And did you really take my saying "you suck" that seriously? Or that personally? If so, just wow..

Wow....you really are full of yourself aren't you. Read the sig...see the Unfriggen retired part. I just started over. I had a 65 BLM, 51 WHM among other jobs and rank 7. Does that qualify me to comment on anything? Besides...I wasn't even commenting on what was/wasn't/should/shouldn't have been done...only on the fact that you commented on that thread. Do us both a favor and don't try to read into MY comments.

First of all...I haven't/am not going to comment on the Mielle topic. I simply made a brief observation...that in my opinion Mishaela seemed to be somewhat speaking from both sides of her mouth. I'm sorry if she took it as a flame. I merely wished to point out that she may not be aware how she came across.

Just a sidenote, the crucifiers of every false move that comonly roam the flameboards here may total 30 at best. The server has roughly 12000 different people, if not more. :wink:

I'm sorry...I find your response quite humorous considering your many posts regarding Mielle recently.

Now granted...my use of the word "many" may be debatable here. In any case...her reaction and assumptions just furthered MY opinion.

It's a matter of opinion of what justifies a flame and what doesn't. I think things that can be forgivable are for instance low quality gear of newer players, unknowledgable of tactics due to lack of experience, honest mistakes, someone trying and failing, interuptions by real life, mistakes caused by fatigue, ext. I think a notable point to make is... most people defending were LS members of Mielle's and commented on her general comments and how they have gotten used to her attitude. This shows to them simply by knowing the person they have accepted her flaws and will look past them because she is after all a helpful and useful LS member. This doesn't however justify how she might act around strangers which was the case of the flame.
Numerous times on this board I've seen a different kind of elitism. Not about Gil or Gear or Levels, but about people who deem themself socially elite. They think because being helpful among friends or strangers makes them better people than everyone else and justifies them doing whatever they feel like to other less elite people than themselves. All I have to say to people like that is, get over yourself.

Most people just post in the flameboards because they're bored. While I think almost everyone has replied to threads here, or even made their own, I don't think even half truly care about the issue they're responding to. The original poster usually cares, and maybe a few people close to the issue on both sides, but most people just like to get their oppinion out on every issue. I don't think the Flameboards have near as much impact on a player's in game rep as it seems like it should. That would require all of the posters to remember the hundreds of names that appear on here daily. Too much work.

Ah yes, the standard Im a hi level and you aren't, so I know more than you. Too bad you were wrong and Kiere has experienced moderately high levels. She is right too, this thread was made for EXACTLY your type of comment.
I dont want to rehash the Mielle flame, but yes I think it was bad form to warp out. However, for missing two hastes in a row, you called her an xp leech and embarassing the job of whm. Kinda harsh dont you think? Before you start back tracking, let me qoute you:

Actually i agree with Mishaela. I think it was more of a fact than a flame and she is in no way being elitist. Elitist is "OMFG!!11!! you missed first voke!!!" like the First guy said.

Stating that a WHM standing there casting cure II and nothing else is a waste of space however is not elitist...its a fact. Get a SMN, they can sit there casting cure III and throw in the odd buff as well!

This of course relys on it being true that she only cast cure II....not saying Mish would lie but that attack log was long and i wouldn't fault anyone for missing something in there.

Anyway...Warping out = Very Rude. Complaining about someone standing there being a waste of space =/= elitist.

I agree with Al. Ishaela, that comment was very overboard for one mistake. I implore you to tell the population of Quetz that you have never made a single mistake in your levelling thus far. She made one, she's fessed up to it, she's learned from it, and she's still the same WHM I've known all along.

I can guarantee you I've made em, and I should have been on the flameboard about 7 months ago when I wiped our 5 members out (3 of whom delevelled) from a bad pull while hunting for Gusgen RSE keys. They were all pretty pissed and promptly HP'd. Does that mean I've been an exp leech for 63 levels of WAR? Did I ruin the reputation of every good WAR on the server from that?

I didn't give a "I know more than you because I'm higher level" speech, I flat-out said he's most likely too new to the game to understand how stuff works later on. There's a huge difference, really, unless you live in some magical world where people join the game knowing every SC and every pro/con of having certain jobs partied together.

Yeah...assuming that Mish did in fact read the log that was posted by Bjbreeze correctly (and she probably did) then it was more than one mistake was made; quite alot more. At lvl 50+ there is no way that there is nothing for the WHM to do other than spam Cure II, it appeared from the log that she missed it for about 5 fights in total. That log was of about 6-7 fights unless i am mistaken. 5/7 fights is not what i would call keeping the NIN hasted.

I do not think that it is being elitest to expect someone to do their job. If i did nothing but stand there casting cure II and then got flamed about it then i would hang my head in shame, not call the leader an elitest bastard.

And i feel that this subject is off topic because it is not complaining about 1 little mistake that was made, which is what the purpose of the thread was.

Where do I begin..I'll leave a nice list of questions for you, grats if you can answer ONE without pulling a load of stupid flames and excuses out your mouth.

1. How was I supposed to know Kiere was a girl or boy? Moreso, what does this hafto do with ANYTHING to begin with? Not that it matters...
2. How am I supposed to know Kiere has some high level job when her sig states two jobs below 20 and nothing else? If I'm at such a massive fault for this, go ahead and state the level of my BLM and DRG, or am I the only one who should magically know sh-!t about everyone else?
3. Where did I say I'd apologize to her if she apologized to me? Oh wait, the spot where I said I'd apologize for my comments when she apologizes, period? That was sortof referring to her party, if it wasn't that obvious.
