As well, I had not derailed the thread, that was done before me. I rode along then made a "poke" at it being derailed and scorned that we should get back on topic.

This. If it's such an insult, then maybe they shouldn't have put the option in the game in the first place. And being that they did, they should have changed the wording so it wasn't so upsetting to them.

I can't tell if DevilFocks is just grumpy or being sarcastic. If I could though, I would lock this thread since it was lame as hell to begin with. But hey, at least its still open so Morcheeba can be told what her chosen avatar is because I'm sure she woke up wondering "What the hell is that in my avatar?"

And personally, I'd much rather Morcheeba "ride my wang" than some of the others out there!

It was sarcasm at the fact that he pointed out what was in her own avatar.
 
It's good to check people that get upset over it. If they're so out of touch with reality that something like that bothers them, then I think you should take full advantage of it. It's not like you're ever going to meet them in real life or party with them in the game anyway.

FINALLY someone gets it.

Calling this a "lame thread" is pretty much an oxymoron in my opinion anyway, 'cause to me 98% of the threads on the flameboard are lame as hell anyway. 'cause a lot of folks here get really upset and take this stuff way too seriously and go on for long BAAAAAAWWWW posts which totally bores me to tears.

Case in point, on the first page, I linked to that other thread with Uzor flaming Raizondetre about her being absolutely batshit insane and spamming him. I saw people flaming Uzor for kicking her from the PT. And I saw people blaming Raizon for going crazy. Both are valid points... Then I saw Yuumi Star (ユウミ☆) come in out of left field, going on these long-as-hell self-contradictory counter-flames against the people who thought Raizon was in the wrong. And that's when it went to crap.

To me, all I saw was: "Angry American-Born Weeaboo glorifying Japan and its mannerisms and lifestyle, while denouncing American culture with extremely flawed logic." More "Baaawwwww" material.

I wish people wouldn't take this stuff so seriously. You know? Maybe I SHOULD'VE posted this thread in Good Times. But I chose Flameboard 'cause I thought the trol--err.. Visitors in here could use a good laugh or two.

Audeeny-Weenie, I'm not grumpy. 'specially not on the flameboard. I was being sarcastic with the thread (and its inhabitants). I mean, yeah, this did actually happen, but I was trying to take a light-hearted and comical approach.

Mirewen and a few others know how I am. I just like to laugh every now and again.

Like the "Hundred Million LS" flame I started. Before I posted it, it was just Wakmidget and I looking for a good time until we stumbled on their forum. Then I posted about it here, and Lulz were had by all.

Since this thread, people have been /telling me in game about their experiences with Oruha. It's kinda funny just to listen to them. I'm not mad at Oruha--I just see her as a source of humor.

Out of touch with reality in regards to them becoming upset. The character isn't becoming upset, the person playing the character is becoming upset.
 
Sorry, forgot to add:

So, if they're becoming upset over something as trivial as someone looking at their equipment (which they know is what you're doing, regardless of what the emote says you're doing), then they are taking the game too seriously, thus being out of touch with reality. They know you really aren't "staring intently" at them.

This may come as a shocker, but for all us dudes that afk to bang hot chicks, there actually are some people out there that do roleplay in a roleplaying game.
