Still the rumors are coming out every so often so the taliban don't lose morale. And the US spread rumors that he may be dead to boost the morale for troops on our end and the allies.

Whether whose views are "liberal" or "conservative" or what-not, the least people could do is respcet one another's opinions.

Personally, I absolutely HATE Fox News but then again the other standard news channels like CW11, My9News, channel 7 are not as great either.
CNN tries to get into issues more in depth instead of just "they blew this up, they killed this many people today and thats it" kind of thing.
I mean they have more reporters in dangerous areas more than the other stations. I think the other stations are too chicken to let people go to those kinds of places anyway.

BBC is by far probably the more informative ones out of the US media.
They don't have as much American propaganda in the reports they deliver so it is a bit more refreshing.
 
Urm.. BBC isn't US Media. It's UK. So ofcourse there won't be as much American propaganda.

Seems to me she was the only one actually preaching 'intolerance, hate and death'. In all honesty, i thought she was just an ignorant person, but this goes beyond that. I know many muslims that dont like whats going on with fundementalists. Her screenshot proves to me that there are fundementalists on both sides. She spouts the same nonsense that the leader of Iran spouts, but im assuming with christian overtones.

Now, I know people say that once the word nazi is invoked, its a automatic loss for that person in an internet arguement. However, i wont call her a nazi, i'll just say that the thought process is frightfully similar.

I know but still UK is very close to US so I wouldnt be surprised if there was some US propoganda in there.

Fox: Israel has launched a defensive attack, removing multiple militant installations guised as civilian properties.

When's the last time CNN aired the commercial paid for by groups in the middle east THANKING the US for our support? Never.. all they show are dead babies and not explain anything beyond it being our fault.

You give examples about how CNN views it in a bad light and FOX views it as us beating the bad guys. How do you know which is true?

Historiclly speaking, us killing innocent people seems more likely as it has happened more often than not in every war we've ever been in.

America is the greatest country in the world, I know this to be true. I also know how many innocent people we killed and how many people have suffered to make us so great.

You have to learn to accept the bad with the good. Our leaders aren't gods here to kill the evil-doers with great haste and accuracy. They are humans just like you and I. They make mistakes too. Just like People in the media, just like people everywhere on this planet.

You need to re-evaluate the lode stone on which the arch of your life rests, one day you will realize it isn't what you thought and your whole world will crumble into a pile of crest-fallen bitterness.

If you want news, go watch C-SPAN. They show the assholes at work making the decisions you will see on the news. Then you can evaluate them on your own without the emotional spin ALL networks put on the news.

I guess it'd be a bit late in this new Windy vs. Moderate world to recommend not watching a single news station, but to watch multiple stations ie.. that would be like watching CNN and Fox zomg nowai O.O. Then, if you feel you aren't being fed complete truths to read accounts of soldiers etc...

There's a lot of people out there that lean heavily one way, over a third of Americans think we should ignore the Geneva Convention when dealing with terrorist suspects.

Fox News is the conservative Media outlet. All their news has a Republican spin to it.

PBS news is the liberal media outlet. Most of their news has a Democratic or Independant spin to it.

CNN, CBS, NBC, and ABC news are for the most part middle of the road. The majority of their stories aren't heavily biased one way or the other.
