I would like to point out that only one person has used that word.
As for your assumption that none of the people who have posted on this thread know about the reason slang such as that which Yasuke is using, or what the ghetto is... you are very mistaken. Generally i avoid pulling out the 'this is me in real life' card... but here it is.
I worked as a social worker in the ghettos of New Orleans... East side, 9th ward... all those places you heard about during the hurricanes, that is where i worked, and that is where a number of my friends lived. I've studied numerous psychological papers written by black people for black people... for classes school, and so that i could better serve those who i did community service for (I was a TA in an elementary school filled with primarily black students, and later on i worked on a crisis/suicide hotline which served the greater new orleans area), those who i worked to help while i was a social worker... and those who i interacted with on a daily basis. I would wager to say i know more about this topic than you do in your Suburban home in CT, which you wrongfully have decided to call a ghetto. The racial element is not the only aspect that defines that term. There are economic, political and sociological features as well. This is not my opinion of you Taeketsu, and i don't even know for sure if you are a minority, but if you are... and if you are black... many blacks from the inner city with an inner-city mentality would consider you whitewashed based on your grammar and where you lived....
What made me post before, and what makes me post now, is that i find it offensive that when so many people were looking for a way out of their situation... the one that they were forced into because of prejudice and poor quality education... and than i see this guy, who like i said in my first post, can obviously function within the main stream of society perpetuating that thing that these people were forced to suffer because of... it makes me sick. The ignorance of Yasuke's actions is repulsive.
You want respect Yasuke? than stop cussing... stop calling people bitches, it's offensive... and no one will go out of their way to respect you when you won't do the same for them. When dealing with people, compromise is always something that must take place. Everyone has different faces they must put on to function in this world... That isn't a front, it's survival... the way you talk doesn't define who you are... When i speak in Japanese or French i am still me... when you speak in standard English, you are still you...
The fact is, no one in this game gives a damn about what race/ethnicity you are... what religion you follow... where you live or how much money you make or which political party you identify with... those things are all non-issues by default. What people do care about is not being disrespectfully, and being able to communicate with others. Calling someone a bitch... or using the word Nigga (which in my mind is no better than nigger)... there is no respect in that. Communicating with poorly spelled English... it makes it more difficult for people to understand you... toss in the curses previously mentioned and it makes people not want to understand you. You are right Yaskue, this is not your english class, we are not (at least not most of us) english Proffs in college... but you are a fool if you think what you learn in english class is only to help you in school. Practicle application is what makes school worthwhile, how about you start using some...
You still have yet to respond to any of the well thought out posts presented to you Yasuke... really same with you Taeketsu, your only response was more or less "i bet you guys don't know anything about why he talks like this."
As for both of your challenges for someone to come visit you irl, i'll take you up on it if you want

we can take pictures of either of you beating up a girl who dared to disagree with you, since that is more or less what both of you said you would do. Taeketsu, i can be in CT within 24 hrs, I am currently in NH. Yasuke, i would probably have to delay your visit a bit more than that... maybe i would make it be part of my last trip to new orleans to recover the rest of my stuff from there.
