A nin will 90% of the time get an invite before a pld. I've seeked for 7 hours and didn't get a party (pre-70 even) before. It's all really random but yeah, pld do have to seek like most other jobs.

As for advice, I use shield skill > VIT > DEF > AGI for exp mobs where I eats def food. For food I used kabobs until the 60s where I used kabobs or tacos. Tacos aren't really required and the damage you take between the two isn't really noticeable. If you want to be hardcore, eat black curry.

I have seeked fr days as Sam.. never once get invites.. people said "Samurai Too Weak" and it's like wtf O.o Sam is my personal fav DD (only DD I will level) because it is WS driven.. can SC with anyone... but people are silly

me and val where flg for 4hrs togher both hume pld so plds dont get invite past 60ish
 
seriously guys, stop whinning about not getting invites. every job has its down time. you can't make a party without other jobs to do it. I've sat lfp on nin rdm blm whm thf mnk brd rng (pre-nerf). Its a fact of life

I didn't see anyone "whining" anywhere...

There was some relation of experiences of waiting for a party for a long time on certain jobs, but that isn't the same thing. Most of the talk, in fact, is about a willingness to endure the waiting time ... not a lament about it.

It's a minimal part of the thread, besides.



Good luck on paladin, Shaid. I static with a couple of friends sometimes, on paladin and white mage ... I'm a black mage. I know there's that "z0mg get a ninja" bias, but the truth is, our parties are always excellent: WELL above average. It's a matter of setting things up correctly.

What's more, my buddy holds hate like he's glued to it. I can get some monster magic bursts off. ^_^

all of this is whinning, at least eulore makes a reference that all jobs have to lfp. spending 4hrs and 7hrs seems overly exagerated. I dont keep track how long i've lfp on jobs, they all have there times when there just isn't the people on/jobs to build a party. a pld is a tank, there is really only 2 tanks that people "accept" so saying its hell lfp and there is always 50million ninja's lfp is utter CRAP. might not be the best reference, but the guy does lvl kind of crazy. Jingod lvl'd pld to 75 in like 2months if that. Maybe your ability to party or make parties is why your feeling a lack of invites. maybe more friends with better jobs to support yours is the way you should go, because lfp isn't working for you.

yeah some times there is no one else wanting to party thats cool when you make a party they go who you got and you say pld..... they go no thanks

The only job that has ever told me that is a bard. I completely understand a bard not wanting to join with a pld in the party but....

have you tried this?

pld rdm brd (insert melee/dd's here)
keep in mind rdm needs to be geared to main heal and be /whm. But this combo can own xp if you get it set up. maybe not as much if the tank was a ninja but its still good xp/hr and a bard is usually willing then. its the rdm that usually bitches then lol.

yeah i done pld rdm brd before and i found out in TBT how to hit 777def at 62 :) was great and using my earth staff but once brd had to go sucks lost minne tititan ring sucked then etc >< but how often u get brd and rdm with a pld? satic only normaly
