Parser broken?

No the original was not rmt and the new one is not either

Honestly the only things he didnt know when I pted with him were about the new expansion when he first came back he knew most scs and prefferred the old fashioned type of pt(Rdm, blm, whm, pld, rng, thf)

Um... no?

RMT are the folks who farm and sell gil.

Selling your account when you're done with the game is just... recouping losses? Especially a high-value account, might actually make a profit from it.

I know it sounds a little wierd, but I see nothing wrong with selling your account on ebay, or with buying said account if you already have experience with the game (guy who quit, comes back with no character). Buying a level 75 account instead of starting at level 1 for your first character, or buying gil, that's what I have a problem with.



But really, let's keep this thread on track, make a flameboard thread if you feel the need to discuss this further.
 
Technically RMT is selling an account. How do you buy an account? With real money? And how do you get the account? Trade REAL MONEY? RMT? You are trading real money for something that legally isnt yours.
 
When Mattimer decided to quit he asked me if I would help him buy and build a computer in return for giving me his account. RMT? Probably. For the record I have never been an asshole to anyone, ever; and everyone that's played with Mattimer in the last few months have known me to be a really nice person. I did not want to see Mattimer go to gil sellers; as original Mattimer would have sold to them to get back some of his loss. I don't want to stop playing his character but.... I have little choice. Mattimer was a great guy. You will never see him lvling anymore; probably powerleveling people.

I am sorry for your beleifs. It was fun playing with Mattimer but now he is gone.

I personally think that as long as you aren't directly hurting anyone then it's nobody's business to apply their moral standards to you, but then that's how I feel about RMT in general. I just find it hypocritical that some would declare chinese gilsellers selling gil to make a living as immoral and some 1st world guy RMTing to get a free computer as moral. But then trying to impose personal beliefs on others tends to make people hypocrites as a result.
 
Hello Everyone. I'm Tazzy and I'm the new dev for the parser that Spyle started. I'm always willing to help with troubleshooting so just give a holler if there is a problem.

Firestreak I already explained in the PM how to fix the run-time error, but for everyone else if you are getting this in the Folder that the parser was installed, check to make sure there is a folder titled "FFXI_SaveLogs" if it isn't there just create it. I mistakenly forgot to add the line that creates the folder.

Any other problems, questions, concerns or requests just let me know. I'm still working on many of the bugs caused by the oct update.
