Not that I've never had a Dark Knight party well with me, but this does tend to be the general case. I'll give a second amen to it.

I must say 50-55 Vorpal Scythe >> Viper Bite was my prefered SC as a dark knight, and had a few very good parties with that SC.
But I would generally agree with you.
Exactly my point, most of the time it's not so much a good thing, but once Vorpal Scythe and before sixty I am seeing myself being okay with more Dark Knights.
As far as Ancient MB goes it pisses me the hell off. Not so much that mage want to do it as they don't care about actually pulling it off. Most of the dipshits I've had tried it with in the party have given the signal and expected the SC to start that instant when I've been waiting a couple of seconds on the chain starter the entire time.
THEN even when it doesn't fob up my SATAVB *Find anything that pisses a Thief off more then screwing up their B&B.* it ussually STILL lands too early to burst.

Lol. I have 30 private messages and all about this topic. Rants, "I hope I was ok to party with", and "you've got really good points". Mostly rants and the party ones.
Most rants being "You don't play the job. You shouldn't tell us what to do". Fine. Let me explain.
Marohaung - He should of at least tried to keep hate. I know NINs aren't as bad as many people say they are at keeping hate. He provoked first thing in the battle and never again. Stop PMing me about how "NINs can't hold hate so you don't know what you're talking about".
Sassy - Since when were BLMs meant to cast regen and rest all battle? Fights and exp would of gone much faster if he would of played his job. Stop PMing me "You're right. But you shouldn't have bitched because you're not the one playing BLM and don't know what you're talking about".
Lizard - I WAS NOT talking about Spirit Linking every time the timer was up. She only needed to once or twice. Her wyvern rarely got hit. It died after it got poisoned with 1/4 health which she could of easily saved and she probably wouldn't of had to Spirit Link again. Stop PMing me "Spirit Link has a timer and it's useless anyway because then it costs MP to Cure the DRG". Guess what. It costs more MP than that to heal you guys during the following battles while waiting on your Call Wyvern to come up because we don't have that extra damage so it's taking longer. Longer fights = more hits to tank or whoever = more MP WHM has to use.
Kote - I can't believe people are actually sticking up for his actions. A) He fought 1/4th of the battle. B) The other battles he didn't fight he was either eating or synthing. C) If you're seeking for exp so you can synth while the others work their asses off to get exp that YOU are getting a share of, don't seek. Stop PMing me "He had a right to go AFK. You're not his boss".
Elveengirl - She should wait longer for someone to answer and if someone says "No thanks." that should be the end of it. Stop PMing me "You should of been more polite". How much more polite can I be? Is "No thanks." not polite enough now? I could of just said "go fuck yourself".
The THF in my BLM party - Why in the world would you party if you're going to be kickboxing with friends? I would never seek if I had friends over or had less than 3 hours to exp. Stop PMing me "She could go AFK if she wanted. It's none of your business".
The PLD in my BLM party - How can you say that a PLD isn't there to cover someone if they're getting hit? If that was the case, why do they have Cover anyway? Every PLD I've partied with uses Cover whenever someone has quite a bit of hate. Considering Freeze was grabbing tons of hate, he should of covered. Stop PMing me "You don't know PLD. I've been in a pt with a MNK tank, a pt with two PLD and pretty much no DD, and a pt with a DRK that doesnt understand that when I show my tp it means im ready to SC and am waiting for his and that when i say SC at start it means when we start not halfway through....without telling anyone.

explain to me what exactly what went wrong here other then what it appears, somebody being an asshat -.-;
I mean I asked 1 question to find out what he had in party and where he wanted to go then took 30 seconds to search that area to see what it looked like for compatition on exp mobs. next thing I know I'm getting this kinda crap.
and people think that RDMs have it easy when it comes to leveling... we sure as hell don't. most people treat us like crap and I'm getting sick of it.
recently got told that it's not enough that I as a RDM haste refresh dispel cure nuke and enfeeble, seems some people expect RDMs to also sub WHM so we can take on the other job of status cures and barspells for the party... WTF!? not like I don't already have enough crap to do, you want me to do more stuff to take some more of the load that WHMs are suppose to be doing!?
got told "well what if the WHM is silenced?" {um...} {Echo Drops} {Do you need it?}
get a clue for crying out loud -.- I hardly ever have a chance to rest Mp in an average exp party cuz I'm on my feet most of the time making sure everyone that needs refresh has it, making sure mob is dispelled, landing at least 4-5 enfeebles per fight and reaplying them, hasting melees, MBing when I'm not already casting some other spell, & backup healing so the WHM (or main healer) can rest and get Mp.
that leaves what for the WHM to do? {hmmm.} regen shellra protectra barspells? most of those are AoEs not to mention the fact that WHMs now have the new ability to use divine seal and cast an AoE status cure

Finally someone else sees my agony lol. Some oen was bold enough to ask why i never rest the other day... i was just like "........"
oh boy those comments brought tears to my eyes... im so glad im no minority when it comes to mano, rosehot, elveengirl and the like...
My first experience with Mano the ninja was in Cape Terrigan. Our party coped with him after he got himself killed on the way to camp. He was asking for raise every2 mins even though we told him we were looking for one. That was probably the point where we shouldve have just given up. But I learnt the hard way. Anyhow, towards the end of that nightmare (I must admit the rest of the pt members were great) only Mano was the useless member, who even though we said we were disbanding and leaving kept bringing in more and more mobs.. so in the end the unanimous decision was to warp his arse back to jeuno. Elveen girl isnt too much of a RDM but Rosehot at one stage tried to set up the most useless manapt with 3 blms, and 3 other jobs which turned out bad due to the fact they had no battle plan and we were being creamed by crawlers in boy tree. Anyhow, surprisingly three of them all disconnected at the same exact time... I think they forgot to pay their phone billl...lol and so I escaped us at that time due to the fact we wouldve all been dead. 5mins later they turned up again. No surprise but the remaining pt members decided to disband.
But there is salvation! My LS has created an awesome bloodthirstly xp pt last couple of days. We've been doing pretty well with 5 chains at the most times and tonite 70 is looking good. Thelema (ranger) and Janelly (thief) have been great for skillchains and we have a good thing going when it comes to getting a good party together. Weve been using Ninja as our tank with BLM (me) and WHM for healing and haste. The 6th member is SAM. 4-5 of the members are from our LS and it was a great weekend for xping.
Just to add Lawrnz is a great pt member too and a good friend. Unfortunately there are times where pts jsut dont gel well but it happens - its party of the gaming experience. We're here to have fun too.
Oh just before I end I had to mention the 70level pt of JPs in Bib Bay were being slaughtered - I imagine 8 wipeouts!! just fighting the same mobs as us. We didnt raise them due to the fact I was sick of getting reply pt tells from other days saying - no thanks english pt - or a simple auto translate message .... Goodbye. That party initially tried to steal our camp too mind you. So my message would be.. JP party no thanks No More MP! no Raise.
Please dont think Im discriminating on JP's some of their parties in the past have been awesome and very friendly.
