Tanking lesser/colbri is too ez as nin. Like some one mentioned, you only need to watch for pecking flurry. Snatch morsel isn't a problem either because the tank doesn't eat food, unless you like to waste gil. Use +enmity gear if you can not hold hate.

For op, try boyada tree or den of rancor or RU'Avitau or newton mov.
Thanks for the not very helpful post on how to do it. Maybe I was too low at 55 to be there, because all my spells were being resisted with capped skill and my melee damage wasn't anything to write home about. I'll have to give it another shot now that I'm 56.

55 isnt the best level to tank em at. The minimum level for a dd to exp in a camp is not the minimum level for a tank to exp there. I always try to get a tank to be at least 1-2 levels above the minimum requirement unless you're desperate to find a tank.

Probably because you are Mithra. Elvaan at 55 and the rest at 56-57...Tarutaru never. They have a secret JA, Snatch Taru HP. It's a party ender.

Moon, Sky, and Lufaise Meadows were the best places to exp prior to the expansion. You can also go to the bottom of Kuftal tunnel and fast chain tigers (closing chains with Ladons for some extra exp).

That said, even w/o the exp bonus, the expansion zones are far better. Imps/Flies/Colibri/Mamool Ja give as much exp as weapons in Moon or Sky but they die *much* faster.

For Lufaise Meadows you need to have a party geared towards killing ITs rather than VTs. Use PLD tank for birds or NIN tank if you are taking rams. For birds, you need a WHM for Cure V and piercing damage helps. IMO, the best setup for taking them out would be PLD (with Joyeuse for piercing), 2x DD (RNG or DRG), RDM, BLM, WHM.
