Ok, my birthday is coming up on October 10th. Its my 18th birthday and I want to do something great but im at a complete loss. So what would you do?

Now, here are you resources:

$70.00 cash
5 of your closest friends helping you set up.
50+ people coming.
Edit: No alchohol, drugs or items of extreme sexual nature.

Location: Big open field with a shelter and picnic areas. Including fire pits.

Should I just go standard Pizza, Pop, then casual hang out until it gets dark enough for a bonfire type thing?

My bad.

Update: No alchohol, drugs or items of intense sexual nature.

Buy everything from the 99 cent store the baloons pop in your hands when blowing them up. The food is over a few years old or is fake cheap version of a main brand item. Everything that comes from the store breaks in about a day so you don't have to have any long term friendship ring commitments. The cover for a picnic table will either be lighter then a tissue or the size of a napkin. The squirt gun caps have been glued and are falty so they don't actually squirt water. The paper for writing down things is thinner then air and is almsot non-existent so you whon't have to remember who gave you what present you just send them a note that your paper disolved when someone spilt a fake soda pop on it which you also bought from the 99 cent store. Give everyone a treat bag when they leave the party though they will be sad that there isn't actually any of the treats in it because there were holes in the bag and you just didn't want to fill it up with items because they would just fall out. The list goes on.

All in all you will waist about 20 dollars for the 99 cent stuff so you got 50 dollars to go buy yourself something nice.

PS. Buy some plastic to burn in those pits the smell might not be nice but hey its a fire.

Sorry dude, I can't come. ; ;

I know a place where $70 can get you 3 days with a toothless 50 year old hooker. Want her number?

I don't think you can have a "party of the year" while disallowing so many Earthly pleasures. It's kind of the entire point of a party. The earliest parties in history were basically orgies. Gluttony, irresponsibility, and debauchery in all of its forms are the reasons parties exist in the first place ... they're chances to toss aside self-restraint for six hours or so. Striking all the things you usually hold yourself back on off the list reduces it to the level of a 10-year-old's funny hat and magician-clown affair, no matter how hard you try to avoid it.

Adults celebrate in a different way than children. You're becoming an adult. Enjoy the adulthood. o_O

By that I don't really mean the alcohol and drugs. By all means, keep that crap away. I'm just talking about the sex, mainly. Live vicariously for me, eh wot? I'd appreciate it.

Unfortunutly, I will be having a varying age group.

15-26 to be exact. (Yea, marching band really blows sometimes >.<) And my girlfriend isnt turning 16 until december. <.<

Well, I can't blame you. My circle of friends (and I, myself) wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a rowdy setting, either. We've grown up in a rather conservative, restrained sub-culture. Liberal as I may be in my own mind, I'm still goody-goody behavior-wise.

Our nerdy idea of a good time is video games. If you don't mind being a dork (and let's be honest ... we all are, around here), then by all means ... LAN it up, bucko.

1. Find kiddy pool
2. Buy $70 worth of mayonaise
3. ????
4. Profit!

lol, thats where the other part of the problem comes in.

Let us take a look at this horribly made, convieniently placed chart:

------------------------------------------------------
Males: 16..............................................................|
Females: 34...........................................................|
...........................................................................|
% of males at party who like video games: 90%............|
% of females at party who like video games: 30%.........|
------------------------------------------------------
I already tried the "Halo, Ghost Recon, NFL 2006, Starcraft, Dynamis" nerd route.

The 16 guys loved the idea. Most of the girls? Not so hot on the plan.

And we all know we cant have a decent party without alot of happy women.

Play 7 minutes in heaven?

Sweet. That might actually work. And it saves me $70.

Wait.....do I have to feed them?

They do come bearing gifts.....

Go to some shitty corner store and buy bags of chips. they usually have something like 2 for 4 bucks or something. Or buy them all slurpees.
