Oh one more thing here. I just want to point out that you probably didn't need the paper on Pandorda cuz you had already gotten it on blm with that character. The character you DIDN'T have it for was Passions. Therefore you lotted out of greed. Secondly, another thing Numa pointed out in his post I didn't pick up on, was the fact that Passions is still only lvl 50. Therefore, you lotted on that paper over 6 months ago, and that's according to your own words, that to this day you've yet to use taking it from someone who was capped.

Bottom line, it was a very very shitty thing to do, and just goes to show the title of this thread, is in fact warrented.

Now you've totally pissed me off. I was being NICE by waiting to be the last person to try for Shen. I was 90 minutes late because I was helping people get ZM5 done and therefore I didn't feel it was right for me to go in there and say I should get to use my lantern first. Gimme a break. Shrimp Lanterns are only 200k and bazaared all the time. It was just unfortunate that on that day there were none in Batallia or we probably would've kept trying. Something you have to understand about people. Is you can't justify something by doing things on other occasions. If I had wrote many childrens books and discovered the cure for cancer, and then shot someone who pissed me off, would it be ok? (Drastic and exaggerative situation I know) I mean. I -did- discover a cure for cancer and help all this kids learn to read.

And on the bolded part, you were there with a friend? Not the Keitaro Alliance? ; Because....from what I understand you rolled in, camped the door saying TH Helped, and when paper came up you lotted cause you'd need it 'later' and like to just 'get things early'. And I don't understand, what friend? Was it one friend int he whole alliance? If we weren't there, and we don't understand, tell a story using complete sentences and paragraphs in a clear manner so that there is no confusion.

Because from what I've read thus far, yes, in that paper situation, you were wrong . Just like other people have been in other times.

hmmm I don't think Passions is that greedy. For example, he bcnm'd with me and four others playing two jobs and duel playing on his PC. He played both thf and rdm in our bcnm. anyways.. when we got our drops after the runs the party was discussing Passion's role since he is one person using two characters if we should split 5 way or 6 way. Passions said splitting it 5 ways was fine, and was the first to bring it up that he didn't need a second share. However, the party agreeded that since he was doing twice the work that we would split it 6 ways, with him getting two shares total. It would of been easy for him to say we should split it 5 off the bat, sure everyone would get more gil overall and leave passions with a few 100k less than if we split it 6 way.

I admit when Passions and I first met it wasn't pretty. (this was in game) we talked however our issues and worked it out. I admit I don't know much about the Ohat issue, but in my experience with Passions I discovered he is not "greedy".

Druw, read up you'll see that me and a my friend dee were getting our items for g1, i was on my rdm she was pld i belive, passions was thf.
We had gotten clay already and were heading out to get paper. Ketaro (the ls) was also going farming for paper, so we grouped up in Upper Jeuno had a full allience (or close to) with 3 people lotting paper (counting myself). we get out there with this huge allience and are creaming through the liches, drop rate blows i know but its even worse with an allience. When we got there it was confirmed that we were getting 3 papers, so why they thought it was a shock when i won lot WTF knows. Will i admit i was wrong? NO, noone told me to not lot because i wasn't in need of one bad enough. Was i out there the next night helping my friend get heres? You bet your ass i was, maybe i got it first but i sure as hell didn't play greedy bitch and warp and leave them after getting it, then avoid helping someone else that was there that needed it. That shit HAS happened to me when i REALLY REALLY NEEDED it with pan, paper drops we lot person that gets it leaves wow all of the sudden were left with nothing and no one to help.
That would be selfish and GREEDY NOT what i did.

Fine then, I'm wrong here. The point is, you already had the paper for Pandorda, no matter what the level was. You NEEDED (in your own eyes anyway), the paper for a lvl 24 thf at the time vs. someone who was capped at lvl 50.

Keitaro went there to get the person who was level 50 their paper. You KNEW this and went. Then when the paper finally dropped, you lotted and won. Now you say you took a friend who also needed the paper. So you not only screwed over your very own friend, but the Keitaro member who both needed it more than your level 24 thf who didn't need it for a minimum of another 26 levels.

If that is not bein' (and I'll use the term Mal used instead of greed) selfish, I sure the hell don't know what it would be called.

For the last time, you can write til you are blue in the face, it was a very very very very very very shitty thing to do. THAT is the bottom line of this whole debacle.

All I wanna know is, do you think the person capped at 50 needed it more? So you probably could have waited and lotted on another paper?

Maybe things could of been different that night, MAYBE i could of waited. But back then i saw it differently, they knew i was there and i didn't think anything of it to lot. Yeah, it was getting late and we'd been there for hours w/ no drop, but they said lot i lotted. no i wasn't thinking about those that were capped at 50 because of the fact that when i was capped at 50 there wasn't anyone being nice for me, in fact i almost deleveled before i ever hit 51 the first time.
These runs for OHat's say, we'd really only like 3-4 clusters because we don't want to spend all day and night down there. The difference between the paper and the OHat is that its a fixed amount of time, an extra 1/2hr for someone that's there helping you get yours. I've gone on runs for this hat before, and have yet to even get on for pan. If your going to do a through it together setup, i've got my cluster i replyed quickly and i'm a good helpfull sorce. Why shouldn't i be able to get one with my character, even if the ONE hat i choose is 1 month away from wearing it. I'm not greedy nor selfish for not wanting to go sit in a dark dungeon for hours focusing on making sure i'm going to have stun ready and don't miss my turn, or being mr refresh/paranlya whore again and not expecting to get a hat this time.
Sadly, i wish i'd never of gone that night. Or well joined up in your allience at least. I could of easily solo'd it by myself with a better drop rate then you guys were getting with that allience. But can't turn back time, and what maybe then i should of {/tell}everyone that was lvl 50 [>>hey i have the paper in my treasure do you need it? hurry up so you can lot on it.] but i'm just a selfish greedy bitch, that is only out to provide for myself and say screw everyone else :roll:
