If I don't have much time I'll ask if they have a whm and pass if they don't. But being level 19 in Qufim it's hard to find enough people for a party let alone mages. Sometimes if i'm just really bored i'll give a party a chance even if it seems totally bizarre...like the party where I was the only mage (blm at that). Worked out well though because the two nins did an awesome job and no one took any damage.

Does any other mage cringe when they get an invite from a WAR or MNK, knowing you are more than likely going to be the only mage in the party. I don't have this problem so much with PLD or NIN.

I was in a party with only one mage(WHM of course) and we did pretty good, because we had two WAR's, one RNG, one THF, and one SAM(me) for the melee. The damage was pretty good because we all used basically Mithkabob's, and the WAR's were using Great Axes, and we were Skillchaining. So having just one mage isn't that bad, but sometimes i guess it just won't work out that way. Just had to share that

I have had parties when it was just me as a mage, and if everyone is doing their job and taking the Mob Down Fast, it’s not a problem. If the battle goes on for two long, I burn way too much MP, keeping everyone alive, then they complain about the down time of me resting. It’s not so much that the parties can't work, its just that other mages tend to be more understanding of MP usage. I try to explain this to Warriors I see using a one handed swords and a shield. Those 3 extra DEF Points are not helping me keep you alive, what I need you to do is kill the monster as fast as possible.

I'm actually having a really hard time finding tanks. Tons of mages LFG but no tanks. Some DRKs, DRGs, MNKs, BLMs, SMNs but no WARs or PLDs...hardly any NINs lookin either. It's really starting to suck because I ended up having to be in a party where the MNK and the DRK tanked...it went okay but definately not the best situation....

When I first started leveling my blm in the dunes I had a hell of a time finding tanks as well. I remember one night where we didn't have a war or anyone with voke at all in our party...in fact at one point i actually tried an all blm party...lol It was NOT good..lol

According to that link, you're wearing level 1 gear at level 17. And you complain about Brass Harness?

Yes, because in both cases, the Brass Harness was the best equipment they had.

Also, White Mages can't wear Royal Footman's Gloves. Might want to fix that.

--Get a Justice Badge. They're cheap. (~1k) Or you can quest for it.

--Replace the Compound Eye Circlet with a Brass Hairpin. Also cheap.

--You don't need an Eremite's Ring as a WHM. Switch it out with another Saintly.

Another mistake - as I said, I had to switch that from my RDM equipment really quick, where I do wear one of each. As WHM, I do wear two Saintly rings.

--The Lv.1 Slops and Clogs really need to get upgraded.

I don't wanna lose my pants though. I know, I know.

--A pair of Zealot's Mitts wouldn't hurt. They're really not that expensive for how useful they are.

I didnt give him the chance his dumbass got booted. I second the fact that hes a horrible player (at least when I pt'd with him maybe 1-2 months ago)
