Well you are a very well connected and lucky person. ll I know is that I've never shouted for an assault party that has failed.

I look at assault a different way to others perhaps.

1. My time is variable and ltd due to where I live and when I work, so joining or starting a static is not always an option.

2. I don't mind spamming PSC assaults. I know I'll get people and I know we'll win. Around 140 wins so far.

3. assault kills several birds with one stone. It gets points for gear (eg Yigit feet, Amir feet etc) It allows you to gradually rank up. It is also a source of gil. Selling Hale rings and Chiv Chains gains you 90k for 5k points and 130k for 8k points. That around 450k a month. Not a huge amount but not bad considering the other benefits.

I am actually a little surprised at how offended people are at bonafide shouts. Isn't that after all what SE gave us /sh for? Seems to be a bit of a gang mentality in this board. Thats not really true. I did CoP on my second character after 2-5 till 8-1 with shout parties. It didnt take ages and went very well. I cant remember having one bad party. That's not just luck. Not all servers have a forum like QCDN and organise mission runs etc with shouts. It works and often works well. Its not better than having a nice static but not everyone has the chance to be in a static.

I did all my Aht Uhrgan missions all through shout pts(except black coffin) and we won em all except for the last one(damn alexander :/ )

Actually, what caught my eye was the "to to" in the first sentence. And the past tense of "lead" is in fact "led". The word pronounced *like* "led", but spelled "lead", refers to a metal - of the sort that can be made into, say, pipes, with which a colonel can kill a policeman in a library.

I have led a lot of things like the above mentions, and I think OP has a valid point
its all these guys who are like "how many people do you have" that really drags it down.
If you are interested join in and start with whover is trying to organize it, When eveyrone has teh call me whne you get 4/5 members for a party things will never get done
and those people end up seeking for 2 hours and complaining they never get a dam party, or complain about being broke saying no on ever wants to do BCNM

Seriosuly people, just try joining with someone trying to get something done instead of waitin. It might just be your lucky day and you get something done or possibly come out with a lil luck on BCNM and get what you need

To the people who say dont bother shout, how do you think some of the best players have their gear or get their missions done back when they started? This was how things were done years ago and ther is nothing wrong with it now. True it is beter to do stuff with linkshell members but like OP said he speaks english in non NA primetime so he has tough time finding shell members.

I recogzie many names here and in game who i have helped when i ran a merc shell.
Many of hte peole i have helped are iin some of the top shells across teh server and have become awesome players

So lets not forget our roots, shouting is just anotehr way to get shit done if you dont liek shouts filter it
If you pass up a shout casue theirs not enough members "yet" you may have miss out om something beneficial to you.

I think that is what OP is trying to say. I can agree though that many times if tehrs are 5-6 people who are ready to join events but all of them have same mind-set of waitin for it to be full if these peole jsut join it can be done quick. Also its not that hard if youi join and wait 10-15 mins and nothing happens to say "hmmm. seems like we arent getting anywehre i think i rather do something else" .

I've been playing since NA release. I rarely shout for things ever, and when I do, its to fill the last spot. I've done all Assault missions with my static, all ToAU missions with my friends, all CoP missions with a static, and all RoTZ missions with LS members. I've Coffer Keys when I first started the game I did with friends, the rest I soloed. True, the first Genkai quests I did through shouts, but that's because there were about 6 NA players total that were past them.

I rarely if ever join shouts for things unless I know the player shouting. Because I've had extremely bad experience with them. Its the same reason most players chose not to merit outside of LS, because the majority of the players do suck pretty bad. Randomly picking people up is, most of the time, like gambling. Most of the time you lose, some of the time you break even, and some of the time you strike jack pot. The odds to do that, though, is about one in ten million.

You can have a little handheld computer in your pocket with 4 buttons in your sleeve that you press to count the cards during Black Jack, and the computer, after some time, can calculate almost exactly which cards will be played next and how you should play during games like Black Jack and Poker, and you can use a similar computer with 1 button during roulette. Simply press the button every time the ball reaches a certain position, and the computer will calculate how fast the wheel is spinning, and how fast the ball is rotating, and it'll tell you almost exactly where the ball will land, with some error due to human reflexes. That way you can win almost every time on both.
