Pere spews more nonsense

No, my anti-elitist attitude matches perfectly with what I've said. I think it's ironic that the people who think they're first class couldn't touch what I just sold in battalia if they sold everything they had. That makes all your crafting worth what? Someone's out there making you all look like paupers, and I enjoy dealing with them. They send me a silent 4 million gil. No bragging. No puffing like you all. They just lay it down on the table and walk away like it's nothing to them.

If there is a gil-weight thrower on the server that I respect, it's that player. The player who pays 6 times more than the richest bragger on this forum will ever pay. They throw down like that, because they don't want to be the best. They ARE the best and make you look like a fool throwing your 60 million gil around like it matters. I LOVE irony. You seem to want my respect because you have the gil...you remind me constantly that you have the gil...but in reality you don't have the right to even look at my bazaar. So what, am I to judge you on your gil, or on something else that you do? Because if you're trying to come at me waving gil, no. Stop, that's cute. The people who impress me with their gil are the people who buy from my bazaar. Because if you want to compare yourself to me in terms of gil and who I deal gil with, you're out of your league.

I'd rather you try to prove yourself worth something in some other way than gil, because you can't hope to prove yourself worth a dime if you can't throw down 35k for a coin. Maybe if you all would log out of the forums and actually deal with me in the game you'd see the light. Until then, this is my forum face, and I'm your elitist asse's huckleberry. If I were nicer I would be a force on the server? Pfft, why would I want to be a force alongside endgame affecteds? I'm happy to give the green newbie a windurst win when the week before they were having a hard time with sandy. You go play farm-a-day with the pro's in the big leagues while I sell the titans of the server the coins you can never afford. This little complex triangle of who'se-really-on-top is intriguing.

I love how you respect the idiot that pays 6x more then something is worth. When will you wake up and realize how retarded you sound.

You are nothing and when will you realize that. Your a horrible thief and no amount of money will change that. And your a horrible leader at everything you do. No one respects you and no one likes you, the only reason you think so highly of yourself is because you have this band of idiot newbies that follow you around through dynamis week to week.

Really, if you killed yourself I would not think twice to spit on your corpse as it lay rotting in the ditch you came from.

Someone just realized they're ghetto fabulous...
hurt much for me to remind you that there are people 6 times richer than you'll ever be?
The lowest newbie in my shell is worth more than you ever will be too. Hmm, I see a theme here.

I kind of stopped following this discussion for a while, but it now seems to revolve around wealth rather than the original topic.

What I can't quite understand is what the fuss is all about, in-game wealth is first and foremost a function of playtime. Any monkey with enough time can ultimately accumulate more wealth than the monkey next to it with less play time.

Sure, on my first FFXI stint I made big gil before I even leveled to 10 in any job. Well big gil for my level and where the game was at at that time. I gave some of it out in a logo contest, I loaned some to someone who didn't pay me back, and I funded the first QCDN lottery.

Wealth fails to impress me. Greatness comes from what you do with your money, not from having a shitload of it.

So your bragging that there are JP's with 1,200,000,000 gil? Not only do I find that hard to believe but I also find it funny that even though you and your band of newbies have not even close to that combined... you brag for them.

And on top of this, these players your bragging about are total losers who play FFXI whenever they are awake instead of going to school or making good money where it counts... in real life fool.

Get a life.

You and your band of elitists aren't worth a choco ride from bastok. All that decent armor gone to waste on such low players...I'll send em your all's way though.

Boo hoo, let's pity Peregrine, he's envious and has to make up for it by throwing his weight around and "hurting" peoples feelings.

lol i'm not the one pissing on someone's grave
I'm not being obtuse. I'm not being ironic when I say this. I'm not being sarcastic:
Elitists couldn't be more worthless.

No hun, i'm not waving gil around, I don’t measure myself or anyone else by what’s in their make believe wallet. I'm simply throwing your latest argument in your face, and pointing out what a pompous and hypocritical ass you are being at the moment. This was the first time I have ever directed a post towards you, and it is likely to be one of the last.

You’re happy to see a green newbie their windurst win, and I am happy to give someone their last Subjob item, or take a party of five through beacudine to get all of them their papers for genkai one on my free time... or to show a recent lvl 70 that they do have a hope at getting that top notch gear they have been dreaming about ever sense they started reading about end game. What I deal in, Pere, is helping people accomplish their goals, and in my opinion you cannot put a value on that. In the previous post that I had quoted though, it seemed as though you were trying to... and that is what I was replying to.

You are proud of your accomplishments, you say they make you better than anyone else here... but the fact is there are many people on these forums who have accomplished far more than you, and talk about it a lot less. You gloat in your accomplishments b/c you think it allows you to act high and mighty all over everyone else, while other people are quietly and calmly accomplishing and playing and having a good time. These are the people you swear you champion... but to them, you look no different than any other elitist.

You see, what I base my judgement of a person on is their character, and all the gil, in-game accomplishments, or Medical degrees anyone could place their hands on simply cannot make up for a bad one.

Actually, you are being ironic.

How can you not see that? You're the biggest peice of garbage around, but you're try your damnedest(and failing at it) to paint yourself out to be gold.

First, DARLING, my style is to talk to groups because I have so many people trying to prove to the world that they can post at me. I'm talking to the YOU if it applies to YOU. If it doesn't apply to YOU, read on and there will probably be a YOU that I'm talking to. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're worth an entire one of my posts. You're new at talking to me, and I have other mouths to feed.

I've been throwing this argument out for months. It's the same format. Hypocritical to the idiots of the group. I'm just showing them them, and being better at it. You don't know me. You haven't seen me in the game. My point goes over your head because you think you know me. No prob, chalk you up with the rest as someone who would be on my side if you had put a little more thought into the forums and the nature of my posts.

You think because you took a land god down that makes your kind doing "far more?" Exactly how is you serving elitists "far more?" Farming for yourselves "far more?" At least you're not trying to wave gil in my face like Vang and Decidence. Vang couldn't keep an endgame shell if his life depended on it, so he just whines about how solo NM whoring got taken away. Decidence would con his own mother to get some gil on. You at least agree with my point. You just don't understand the slant I'm coming from.

Decidence doesn't know where to start in a topic called "What was your greatest accomplishment" because he hasn't done anything. I'll tell you what mine is. When I asked how many people just got wins at the end of last wednesday's runs--for them to indicate with a "/" mark in the linkshell thread, the thread LIT. Massive scrolling. 20, 30 hash marks. You can't buy that, and you would be hard-pressed to top that.

I'm proud of what I do, because I do it for the people that these beggars wave their noses at. And I let them know that. Gladly.

When in the HISTORY of me posting has me saying, "Elitists couldn't be more worthless"...when has that EVER. EVER been a difference between what I SAID and what you EXPECTED me to say? We're way past irony here. This is ME talking.

Let me get this straight. Here's a short list of the things I've done in-game:

- Taken Monk to 75 and working on getting Summoner there while having close to the best possible gear for each job at every phase.

- Sky pass (including basically soloing the ZM12 boss) and currently in a Sea static. Before said static, took Peregrine to Diabolos after his groups went 0/7 and won without incident. To be fair, Peregrine was able to bring a group through Ouyru with me in it after Viper Biting the mob during one of the failed runs. Considering forming a Limbus shell once Sea is obtained.

- Woodworking 100 and Cooking 97. Cooking could be 100 but I'm a lazy son of a bitch. Will probably have Alchemy and Bonecraft 100 on mules in the next few months.

- Recieved PMs on Alla and POL messages from people on at least eight different servers thanking me for my multitude of crafting guides. Messages from the Monk and Summoner forums thanking me for my insight, wisdom, and videos. Working on a first draft for a "How do I get all crafts to 60" guide.

- Loaned/given millions in gil to close friends and family in-game. Allowed others to use my craft levels and jobs for their own profits and gains without asking anything in return.

- Having a shitload of fun duoing stuff with my girlfriend. Something I thought I'd never do after how worried she was that we were wasting $90 on FFXI for the PS2, lol. Going from "I don't know if I could ever get into this game, Matthew" to us fighting over who gets to XP on a given night.

- In general, respected by my peers not only on this server, but across them.

But I'm not 'first class' because I have no desire to do Dynamis instances or buy the currency to fund a relic weapon. If that's the case, I guess I'll have to settle for being second class.

Then again, I've helped more people in this game then Pere could ever hope to help in a thousand Dynamis runs. Back of the line, second-class beggar.

I'm not looking for you to realize your class. I'm looking to make fun of people on this forum who think they're higher than they really are. And how do I do that? By looking down on them. From the ground. It like never gets old, it's amazing.
Looks to me like you've helped a static, a girlfriend, and your friends and family. Oh pardon me you posted a guide and copped out into the "i helped millions" bit. Sorry, doesn't look to me like you're getting it done for 60 people twice a week. Just an internet personality. We know how much worth the internet personalities are...

Forum Trolls have no place anywhere, good game.

Your 15 minutes of fame ended a long time ago, now try to achieve something to actually merit the attention you crave.

Now. About the dodo-destined crafters who synth a HQ with a 5 million gil net profit off someone else's materials, off someone else's risk...and demand 4 million of that.

Or should we talk about me some more? You all done talking about the main topic? Ready to talk about the on-topic?

Smoke and mirrors. I've helped more people while I sleep than you could hope to help in your Dynamis career. What does your shell do to help the level 15 player with no subjob? What does it do to help that level 40 Monk that can't afford his Sniper's and Brown Belt? What has your shell ever done to help the real Average Joe? The one that can't log on at a specific time twice a week? The one who wants to be 'first class' but hasn't put in the playtime to be there yet? The people looking to take those first steps towards being able to attempt Dynamis, let alone Sky, Sea, Limbus?

What you can do to benefit others begins at level 65. Mine begins at 1. And suprise, suprise - there are a lot more people on that side of the coin. When you can show me how your Whiteshells and Byne Bills benefit a Mog's Master with a ? over their head, let me know.

And I was the first in a white coat to interview a 62 year-old man at the VA today with shortness of breath and chest discomfort. Are you actually trying to stray into the real world where I sleep? I don't think you want to go there. Let's stick to quetza, where you basically just sat there wordless and rode the gravy train every time I've ever seen you. Sorry, every time but one, and you've reminded me of that no less than three times now. Must have been pretty exceptional for you to keep bringing Diabolos up. It really wasn't. I made the mistake of relying on endgame ratracers who don't know how to play. They just know how to farm. I fixed that mistake, and didn't make it again with the dynamis shell.

So is this the point where Peregrine ignores the issue and deflects attention, or the point where Peregrine goes "Ha! Ha! I'm posting from medical school!"

Real life has no bearing on this. What one does for the FFXI community and the 'Average Joe' is the issue. And you have never, not once, had anything on me.

As for 'wordless,' well, shit, forgive me if I try to skip the bullshit and get things done instead of wasting my time with idle chatter. I don't need to 'go over the strat.' I know the strat. When everyone else is paying rapt attention to how things should be done, I'm off taking a piss because I knew how to take care of what we're doing a week before you thought about doing it. But then, maybe that's why I'm steamrolling towards Omega Weapon while you're still trying to latch onto a Vahzl group after your last ones exploded due to nobody wanting anything to do with you. Maybe you should get people from your Dynamis shell to help you. They're willing to spend 6 hours a week with you - maybe they'll go in for more.

You're not Benny on this forum. I'm not Matthew. I'm a 2-foot creature with my hair in a bun and some crazy magic people that come out of my fingers. Sometimes I'm a girl who beats the shit out of stuff with my fists. You're a woman who hits things in the back. Those things, and the ideas and theories and people who form the community are the focus. Never was anything else to me. Or did it suddenly become a real-life issue when I used a real-life term like "Sleep?" It is a mystery

But by the by, what would your internet guides on leveling look like compared to a comprehensive dynamis tactical layout on our public tactical forum? Who'll get more hits? If I submitted what I know to Gamefaqs, it would be up within the week. So who would get more? You telling people how to freaking level and that economies range from server to server, or me telling them how to take a universal high level zone apart in ways the general internet NA population has never seen? You have what...a description of kick attack? Seriously, where's the service? My monk's 17, and I didn't think it required a guide to unlock the secret art. I got goodies that even Cat Attack never thought of. You think anyone could take a group of 24 to the end of Beaucedine? Could win Windurst with half the entry members never having even SEEN windurst?

Because I guarantee a lot more people would benefit from what I have to say than those who had to be told how to level monk...but like you, I'm lazy. I have the section up. Just haven't posted my notes.
