Excellent post Phraust.
I would like to hear from someone in Peregrine's Dynamis shell. I am curious as to who would settle for being a dependent of Peregrine. According to him/her these people owe their livelyhood to this Dynamis. I am also curious to know who would follow a leader who is as spoken as Peregrine. The best leaders in my experience are not boastful and are not combative - the two strongest qualities of Peregrine.
No one from the ls is a dependent of peregrine, We've only recently stopped allowing individual members to host and started collecting coins for the ls, and are still in the process of deciding what to do with the gil. Our last records show the balance at 10million gil and are still coming up with ideas to vote on in regards of what to do with the gil.
I do not agree with pretty much all of the arguments peregrine gets involved in qcdn. In the realm of dynamis most of the issues pere argues against don't come up, and while pere may make comments off-hand every once in a while pertaining to an issue argued on qcdn, when it comes time for dynamis, pere is focused on only dynamis and is very professional on that aspect. A lot of our members don't frequent qcdn, and those who do ignore these arguments, or put it aside for dynamis. Internally all these arguments aren't affecting the linkshell very much if at all. Internally pere makes a good leader, and is a good puller.

Externally I do see a problem. As the ls is getting negative publicity because of the arguments pere gets into and the style he argues in (I have the same opinion on this as most of you guys =P ). I ask people who read pere's posts to not attach it to the linkshell, yes pere leads the shell, however I can guarantee a vast majority if not all of the ls disagree with most issues pere has come up with, and even when they do agree, would not argue in the same ways pere does, and such. We are a dynamis linkshell that meets twice a week, not a social linkshell, inside the ls there are tons of smaller groups of “friends” who get along better with each other while not even knowing the names of other people within the linkshell. We all work together to get a job done, regardless of our beliefs or ideas of game topics, and lately we have been able to do this quite well, and as I said before within dynamis pere acts accordingly and is very professional, despite his manners here.

On the issue of hand, most of what I would want to say has been said by other members, but I'd like to add some perspective by someone inside the dynamis ls pere leads. I think pere is acting way too cocky in this thread (and usually does in any argument...), I know from conversations with pere he doesn't feel this way 24/7 but I'd like to point out to pere specifically, “you” did not get everyone af, or the windurst win. If you look at our records, our peformance varies greatly depending on outside factors, when OHex disbanded and we formed, we had an excellent team that came in large from ohex and did very well, as these members quit we went into a very large slump, and now with the influx from UC we once again seem to be winning and getting more af than ever before. Pere, you're a great puller and I know your strategies gave us wins we would otherwise not of had, however you used the same windurst strategy basically for 4 runs, and we only won the one of them, the reason was the team, not you.
