The point I make is that giving a vague order like "it's the paladin's job to make an assist order" isn't an intelligent leadership move by Pere. Obviously there was no communication, reguardless of the situation & the players this shit happens in too many large groups in too many MMORPGS. Plain & simple, Pere should have designated an individual, it may have seemed like with the info from Daveman that this is what he may have been asking in his own words...but it was last minute if he was selecting me for said responsibility.

It was YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, according to the rules of the linkshell, to discuss a tank order with the OTHER PALADINS.

Yes and that single macro contains the names of up to 3 other tanks & I need to know the order in which to insert them. I already knew I'd be 1st or 2nd, but whether 1st or 2nd still needed to have been determined for the macro to be set properly.

Invictus seems to run based on the seemingly dangerous assumption that each of its members will have a brain.

But god damn did he try, and that's why you make him look like a martyr compared to your incompetency. He selected like a lightning bolt. Never messed up. Damn good tank, maybe the best we've ever had. But his mind...it was trash. He tried to fix it. He failed. We had to let him go. I even told zylia to stop instigating him to see if he could pull it off. He couldn't. He knew what his fate was if he couldn't, because I told him he'd be removed if he couldn't control himself. Even at the end, he took his pearl breaking without protest. He wouldn't leave, so I had to break it. I know how hard he tried to fix himself. No one else does. If I kicked him for trying and failing, I sure as hell will kick people for not trying.
