stll waiting for this game ... dam Atlus and thier silly artwork missup !

so anyone going to get this ?

I'm waiting for this and Wild ARMs 5, so fuck yes :) Damn delay..
Oh and Growlanser: Heritage of War

its worth the wait trust me, this game is sooo fuckin awesome. im an addict to its awesomeness. I still like persona 2 eternal punishment more, but this one is slowly taking over

Yep, I'm getting this and Soul Nomad once they come out. I'm liking the style in the game, and interested how well the whole social aspect works out. It's been reviewed by various sites already, and it's getting good marks, just a few tedious parts and some things with the interface they wish could've been fixed. I'm not a fan of the whole AI controls your team mates thing, but I can deal with it. Gametrailers.com and ign.com have some good gameplay videos if you wanna check them out.

Had it pre-ordered and payed for, for a while now. I almost cried when I got the call telling me it was pushed back... A G A I N.

Anyone pick this up yet? I'm literally headed out the door as I type this to pickup mine.

I just picked it up with the strategy guide. Game is fun so far, already got my first game over though training too much in Tartarus. Some tips I noticed in the guide that I may as well pass along.

- The end date is usually December 31st, but if you meet certain requirements the last date actually becomes January 31st. Haven't read what they are since I don't want to spoil it for myself.

- 2nd cycle carryovers:
Main character's level and Persona Levels in the Compendium will remain.
All gear currently equipped and in stock will remain, but not consumables.
Other characters WILL reset to the original levels along with their gear.
Social links WILL reset, but the Special Persona's for maxing out specific Links will remain.
Key items DO NOT carry over, nor do any request completed from the Velvet Room.

- Fusion Tips:
If you don't want to risk losing 2 Persona's for Fusion, you can wait till May 10th. The Persona Compendium becomes available at that date, and you can record all Persona's you've captured and reacquire them for a cost.
If you need to know how to get a specific Persona, just send me a PM, there's 140 and too many ways to list all them.
Incense Cards can be used in Fusion to increase a new Persona's base stats. These boosts remain on any repeated Fusions, so no need to worry about losing the benefit if you want a new Persona.

First couple of Pop Quiz answers in school (usually Junpei will ask these in class), these all raise your Charm stat.

Fuyuhiko Yoshimura, How the tools were made, 2, Basic, General Relativity Theory, Let me go!"

- Also, ALWAYS use the bathroom, it's a free way to improve your condition, and you'll need to be in the best shape for Tartarus, seems your stamina decreases after every battle.

If anyone has questions, feel free to send a message!

Picked mine up today, so far... it's too good!

Heh I was playing it the rest of the day yesterday before sky and am loving it, hope I can have it beat before WA5 and Blue Dragon releases, with Eternal Sonata following 3 weeks later, but if not those can wait. Too many RPGs releasing so close to each other, again..

So which Social Links are you all planning on following? Fool is a guarantee as it levels as the story progress, but the rest require some dedication. I'm currently focusing on Emperor (Student Council), which requires high Academic stats.

I'm in your boat. However, I'm playing the game on a whim at the moment and will likely restart once I get a good week at home and get get the guide out and play seriously. Seems like any Social Link will do but it gives you more of an incentive to replay the game :)

Yeah, it's basically impossible to max out all Social Links in one play through, so just go for what you want and don't stress it too much. You get to keep so much in the 2nd cycle anyway. Looks like you can pursue 5 different girls in the game also, I'm all about Mitsuru, her events don't start till November which sucks though..

Mmm Mitsuru...

Anyways, haven't gotten to play much today, so haven't really decided yet, I'll probably end up restarting anyways when I can play it more.

You can't pursue Mitsuru or another character that shows up later on in the original game. In the expansion they open up the options for both of those paths, along with a shit load of other stuff; but you're not supposed to have access to her on the original disc.

It's possible to max out your social links in one play through, but you have to plan out the whole game around that.

I will say this, pursuing the Hermit arcana is hilarious and awesome.

Since I didn't see this thread before...

My major goal is capping the Justice Arcana. I just have a thing for a girl in glasses, aka Chihiro. That S.Link is lvl6 right now. Some of the stories that occur in the social links are pretty damn funny. Magician (Kenji) is quite amusing. I think I'm lvl5 for that one, and I keep chuckling every time I see him. I started the Hermit arcana, and I couldn't read what Maya was saying because of how she speaks.

I THINK I'm up to the end of June, it's fourteen days before the third full moon. I'm really enjoying the game. It's my first non-mainstream JRPG, and I only picked it up because of good reviews and what customers were telling me about it. Glad I did pick it up. Only annoyance is the super-cheap encounters you have at times. Yesterday I almost threw my controller across the room because I died like five times trying to get to floor 59 simply because of shitty luck with encounters. Another time after getting the levels I was trying for, on the way back to the Access Point I got rocked by an encounter. It's kinda frustrating, but that's just shit luck for you I suppose.

Not liking it as much as I had hoped I would. P2 was so much better. I just can't seem to get into this one as much as I did the last one.

lol i start to like maya , the one from the online game

.... i know who she really is now thanks to FES

oh i like the references from the old games

so far i find :

that MMORPG Innocent Sin Online is a reference to the Japan-only Persona 2: Innocent Sin. The user names "Maya" and "Tatsuya" are references to the two main protagonists

There is a mention of the game Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha during an English Class lesson when it mentions the Red Guard taking a hold of Kaya.

The item Cielo Mist name after character Cielo in Digital Devil Saga.

Shuuji Ikutsuki resembles Baofu from Persona 2: Eternal Punishment also
