Point me in the signing direction

I dont know how... but I would sign O_o (but I am not coming to America for this <.<)

I'm gunna post this in my Dynamis LS forum on Asura... I dont know if someone there will be interested in this, but its worth trying.

Btw... this got posted on BG already?

I'm dubious about the actual effectiveness of internet petitions in general, but I'm behind the idea. I'd sign it.

As much as i commend you for trying, i'm going to agree with Baj on this one. This, as noble as cause as any, will more than likely fall upon deaf ears at SE. They still make the money from somewhere, and are probably more profitable because of it, because it seems most of the accounts that were hacked have been hardcore players that use the power of the servers often. Not having to use as much energy to keep a certain character online after it has been emptied of all gil items i'm sure has added up over time for SE.

They have no real incentive to do anything, other than the "we respectfully but rightfully demand". They probably won't take any sort of action until something more serious starts happening.

I say we nuke china and show SE we mean business.

Otherwise you can add my name to the list. I like having my cake and eating it too.

I'll sign it with my game name and RL name. That was well written (Yes I only read the OP, I just woke up)

i posted this already on BG but i think it bears repeating:

while i understand the at-large skepticism, really the idea behind this is that we recognize something is inherently wrong. if we do get enough people to support the petition, there's a chance that they may change things, and at the very least they'll recognize that we agree on something in unity. however, if nobody supports the idea then there'll be zero chance.

but that's what petitions are about: showing unity on an issue that you feel needs reform. like many other issues in life, yeah sometimes you disagree with something and it doesn't work at first. but if it garners enough interest and maintains its support, it absolutely has a chance to go somewhere. and if you get loud enough, someone out there will listen and be on our side.

if we do nothing, then nothing will happen for sure.

a lot of people are gonna say, "oh that's pointless, they won't listen." but being negative about the issue is even more pointless. yeah, i get it, some people don't think it'll work, and that's fine. but regardless of whether we think it will work, we absolutely do need to keep trying.

the worst thing for us to do would be to bow our heads and say "that's the end of it, nothing we can do about it." by perpetuating that type of attitude, we're not doing ourselves any favors.

please bear in mind that i've been willing to take my own time and efforts in trying to spread this around as much as i can, and that i will continue to do so until we have SOME type of change. all i truly ask of you guys if you support it, is to follow through and publicly commit like many of the others here.

this inherently affects every single person that plays the game. everybody has something at stake, and nobody wants to lose what they've worked so hard on. so if you do have an opinion, and you do agree with these principles, please respond. the only way that this can possibly work is if we form together. apathy will get us nowhere.

lot of things have been solve with a little piece of paper. Don't sell this out so easily
"1 single voices is easy thing to ignore; 1000 voices together can bring a empire to it's knees."

I think I can say my self and the rest of Serapis is behind this, and would be more then happy to be added to the name/linkshell list.

Also if possible it be nice to have the JP side to endorse it as well, May be someone should get with them to make a similar petition. Think it might hold more weigh that way.

Signing, but I agree, I cannot think of any internet petition that has worked before. They all gather initial interest, then it slowly fades.

Not on the internet, no.

lolinternetpetition
Well, for what it's worth, I'm at least behind the idea.

Four words:

snakes. on a plane.

good idea, i might sign it.

I'd be tempted to fly to Cali and sign it in person. But you've got my e-signature nonetheless.

Count me in.

For the negative nelly's that feel the need to post, save it. At least Kisada is trying to make a difference. Negative attitudes will get you nowhere fast.

I'll fix some of the awkwardness (over which they have no control over) etc... once I get on later. Ill sign too.

put me in too

Kisada, when you get a large number of signatures you may want to goto media sites like IGN and Gamestop, just to kind of put the pressure on SE. I know CNN and all them covered the Corrupted Blood fiasco in WOW and while this might not be as big, gaming news sites may pick it up.

Also - please, please, please sign with your real name as well as your character/server, as mentioned before, it makes it seem a little more legitimate.

You've got my support kisada. this stolen account shit has got to stop.
