Then I took off and went to level. But I left my Other character there so you didn't have to, which means you got to play your main character. Your second character was there but not that much. If anything it was there while you slept n the beginning until I borught mine in.

You left out the big question... How long were you gone before I got him again by myself?

Your other computer broke down before you left to go level, meaning your other character was not there at that point in time.

There was no need to clear your name. The only person I told about the situation was Vang. Even Tali knew next to nothing... And BB knew because I know him in real life and we were discussing why you werten't in the LS... Because we missed you...

But I started to get pissed when I owuld send you tells, and you wouldn't respond. But I would see your Character moving around from zone to zone. And you had a new linkshell...

At least now I can see why you are pissed at me. I wish you had talked to me first. Albeit your preception is skewed and you're wrong on many points...

And Keep in mind... I got Dancing Edge in that Party, the only one you came to, in Cape Terrigan/Valley of Sorrows....

I don't think Tiya was ever ahead of you in levels Phraust, so how he could push forward in leveling IDK. Tiya, like myself, is a player who does not like to XP from what I have seen, nothing wrong with choosing being successful and rich over constant mindless leveling. I finally got to the point where I want to level whore because I am set until 70 and the ideas of HNM battles excite me.

That being said I am on middle ground with you as players, I have had complications in the past with Phraust but I feel He and I have squashed it and can get along. I have never had problems with Tiya and I would consider him among one of my best FF friends since I have met him. So you could see me as biased, but I am on even kiel with you as players.

What I am not on level ground is your predicament, I have heard both sides of the story in great detail and have come to the conclusion that in the matter of the PREDICAMENT I am in Tiya's corner. Sure you had your mule watching LK which to any Argus camper is the most important tool (besides a fast claim and patience) you can have.

(As anyone who knows Tiya though can tell you that he has plenty of accounts and 2 computers to do basically what Phraust was doing himself as far as watching LK, and often does)

So unless I am missing something, I think Tiya could have handled an LK babysitter just fine without you.

The simple matter of fact is, he got his PCC almost a month? (without you) after you had both camped your personal PCC Phraust. I would not pay my own mother a dime if we were partners and she was not there for that long before I got the next PCC.

To bottle your ill will towards him (or this issue, more specifically) for so long only seems like YOU'RE being the greedy one now. That's your own fault, you should have brought it out of the woodwork the day he got the drop. Because now, like I have said to you before, besides your current gear, it looks like your funds may be running low from what you are used to having and you are searching for invisible I.O.U.'s that people "Owe" you which in reality they don't. (Again, my opinion)

I only hope you don't take this post the wrong way Phraust, I really do not like seeing this happen between 2 of my ingame friends and 2 of the BEST NA NM campers on the server. I am objective with you both as players and campers but in this matter I am not.

OK first off...
I am not missing any of my gear Vang. I just don't wear it. Since I have been tanking I put more emphasis on Evasion/Agi, and have been BCNM'ing for my Earrings.

Now. I agree that Tiya looks to be more in the right as far as actual handlings go. But... The deal was that we would both get a charm, that means 2 charms, and there would be a retainer put on the charm based on the price of that particular day. We got Charm #1 I believe a little after Thanksgiving, and he got Charm #2 before the 'Big Update' that changed Argus' spawn. The point is, I held up my end of th edeal as much as he did, the only exception being that I was at work some of the time. Which he said was OK, and that it had nothing to do with anything, and that he wouldn't hold it against me, that he understood. I thanked him for being so awsome.

The problem only comes from when he realized AFTER getting the second charm, after promising his friend a Scorpion harness, and Me 3.5 mil, that he would be left with nothing. And started making up excuses as to why I didn't deserve my half...

I thought it was cool that he was going to help his friend, and he said that he would get me back on the next one... Well he didn't... Yeah. I left and pretty much never came back after he got the second one, because My end of the deal was fulfilled. The rest lay on his shoulders untill he could come up with the money he promised me.

Then he started avoiding me.. And the linkshell... and IRC.. and eventually ignoring tells... This is where my patience turned to shock, I thought and trusted Tiya would make good on thier word. And he didn't. Yes he is right, he was the main voker in the room, yes he could bring in another character to watch leech... But you know what? He said it was OK, he was being nice, and With my second character in the leech room he could actually play as 'Tiya', rather than waste both computers grinding down on Argus. So he bought Convinience. He bought the chance to play while making money. And I was selling that convienience. I never really asked for the bill except occasionally joking, because I thought he would hold to his word. I was in no hurry, I wasn't broke. But when he disapeared and ditched me... That rejection turned to anger. I had held up my end of the deal. It wasn't so much about the money as it was sitting at work bored and not having him on IRC chatting... He ditched me. I was hurt. And he ditched me because of his own guilt and greed.

Since I am in the LS, and mentioned in this flame, I guess I'd better weigh in.

Tiya and I joined the LS around the same time, and even though he has left, we still remain friends. Same goes for Elly (<3 teh Ellz), infact I hate the fact that they both left

I also owe a tremendous amount to Phraust, and I had always considered him my 'mentor', and a personal friend. Unfortunately, things in the LS have gone bad recently, and I have found myself un-equipping it often..... witch has nothing to do with this situation, so I will keep that drama to myself.

Now to the matter at hand.

I always felt that Tiya and I owed alot to Phraust for teaching us so much about NM hunting, especially with Argus. But on that last PCC 'deal' I honestly felt like Tiya was getting a bad deal. It seemed that he was the one doing 75% of the camping for the two of them. This deal had nothing to do with me, so I completely stayed out of it.... that was just my opinion.

I remember the static situation, and remember Tiya quitting his static for Phraust, and Phraust deciding he did not want to level at that time. I remember Tiya deciding to level crafting, and then P wanted to level.... Tiya no longer wanted to.

As for the only telling Vang comment.... yeah.. I was told last night that I, and everyone else joined the LS to "make a quick buck" Which is complete BULLSHIT and very offensive. You also did say to me that Tiya fucked you outta gil. I responded with "That is between you and Tiya, and has nothing to do with me"

I'm not sure how all this happened, and it is all very saddening. Somewhere it all came apart, and greed seems to be the obvious answer.... but I think it goes deeper than that.

Again, outright lying about the 58, saying I wouldn't level anymore. I quit my static, asked you to level a few times, you said you weren't up to it, at level 60.

Yes, you did invite me out nightly for a week. After I had invited you out a few times, and finally given up and going back to smithing. Why the hell would I have quit my static if I didn't intend to level with you? I'd be level 71 like the rest of the static right now if I hadn't, and still have time for smithing, since they had a schedule that only required two or three days of the week.

The 'Argus Scorcard' was last updated on 12/15/04 When I added your claim. I stand corrected and sincerly appologize. But... I could have done some minor formatting changes to the Scorcard as well... But I don't think I did.

I am ging home to check the File dates on the 'Other character' I used to help camp.

If they are Pre 12/15/04 I got a lot more to worry about than this kind of shit... I got to seriously start questionaing my sanity.

Some things that Tiya posted are true, but there are backstories to all of it that would make it much harder to judge the situation. The ore price being jacked up is because P got it with me and another LS member and he had to split the profits, all of us needing gil at the time, it was in everyone's best intrest to raise the price a tad. That is a common practice at the AH and anyone who takes AH pricing's personal, might need to step back and think for a little bit.

The only sign I have seen of Tiya for the past few month has been the crafting mule that is occassionally waiting for airship in jeuno.

Yeah, I understand that it is a common practice... but when you know a friend is buying the item (which I thought P did, since I'd started adaman quite a bit earlier, and because of his response to Mist), resulting in the friend losing 15k extra per synth and quickly escalating to 30k extra, and even for a while reaching as much as 60k extra, during the same rise in price, before it finally dropped back down, thats a little bit different. P knows that one price jack will make the price rise steadily for a short time on ingrediants like that, but if he truly didn't realise I was buying them, I sincerely apologize for even bringing it up.

I'm truly sorry for bringing that up if it is infact the case.

In the particular case of knowing how prices fluctuate up when you try and raise it, this has unfortunetly not been working in our favor either. There is of course a difference, but in the example of selling Quake for 400k on day only to have it plummet 140k the next time we tried to sell it (less than a week later) we have been finding the AH to be a little hit or miss on the pricing lately.

The comment about getting money from you little bit by little bit was meant to be taken in jest as one of those "Bwa ha ha I am an evil mastermind!" sarcasm sort of things when he found out you were the one who purchased it. There was no intent for foul play involved, I just wanted you to know that, it was actually the first sign that we had seen you were still playing in a while.

I have been making seperate posts in order to keep my points as focused as possible and to prevent myself from babbling on and on about things.(Forward)

In the situation of LS dynamics in reguards to helping one another with Rank missions and AF, it should be noted that everyone is fairly busy doing their own thing, and with the exception of 1 or 2 situations where "Pulling rank" took place (which was pretty much what I felt to be an amussing way of pleading for participants) people have always been allowed to take actions within the LS at their own leaisure. What I mean by that is that everyone can always step back and say, "I don't feel like doing this one." or "I am kinda busy right now." and that was the end of the discussion on the matter. The "Help nights" are completely volluntary, and if no one shows up, they just don't happen.

This being the average attitude of the LS members means that getting inside help from the LS for AF and Missions is mildly harder than it would be in a LS with a firm Heirarchy. :?

No one particularly likes being interupted from their crafting/leveling/camping so it is rare that a LS event takes place in which to get members personal goals accomplished. Of course everyone involved knows that LS members also have short attention spans and something brought up 2 days ago about an event may be completely forgotten about in exchange for another topic of interest. I have seen this behavior out of both Phraust and Tiya several times. It is not a bad thing, as it often leads to a much more pleasent, sporatic enviroment, but that also means that some things just don't get done. :?

That should clarify for any readers the general outlook of LS dynamics so as not to place blame on P for not getting AF or Missions done for other people.

A side note: All of our LS members are proven to be exceptional players in both skill and craftyness. Often times it is expected of one another to attempt things solely on our own a few times before asking for help. It is through experience that our members grow in both personal strength and skill. You know this as well as anyone Tiya. I helped you with a mission or 2 as well, but sometimes everyone needs a reminder that ceratin tasks have been left undone.

And this is the only time I am going to touch the Argus situation at all.

By bringing your friend along on a camp for Argus, (and knowing the person myself, I can say that you had all best intentions and that what you did was a good thing morally) you did interfere with your own agreement with P by bringing a third person who needed the gil.

What I am saying is that when you brought him along, you were no longer able to look at the gil reward from the drop as a 2person split, which nulified the original agreement made between you two. However, as compensation (from the conversations I had with P back when this was all still current) you felt that to make up for that you "Would see if you could give him a mil"

What I see there is that the only actual problem was in the fact that you said you would do that, that is why it was assumed that you were giving it to him.

(This is all ignoring the fact that they had a deal that then got interupted by Tiya's bringing a friend along to help camp; mildly taboo, but circumstances withholding as the need was there. This making Tiya the original breaker of the verbal agreement which resulted in forming of an understanding, but not assurance of him paying Phraust 1M which is below the agreeed amount from original proposal)


In the end, all I can really say is that I understand wher both sides are comming from, but I don't think you really had a name to clear as everyone (being 2 people) that P told understood that this was all just in jest and he was just giving you a hard time about it. No one in the LS or otherwise, (to my knowledge) was actually thinking anything negatively about you, nor were we expective a release of this magnatude. I am sorry you felt you had to post in such a manner instead of bringing it up with P, or that you felt that a public forum was needed to clear your name of things no one associated it with.

In all seriousness, P and I had thought you might have just quit a while ago, but then I would occassionally see you in Jeuno on your mule, so it was always up in the air. :?

Before you feel the need to vent like this in the future, please make it clear to us that you are in fact not "Having family troubles" "Busy with school" "Having connection issues" or anything else I have heard, but that you are in actuallity upset about something.

I guess time went by faster than I had thought. Even if I had played on the day of the update(which I think I did) I still didn't do the actual update. I remember trying to. None the less I Did not help camp for at least 6 days, if the date on the 'Scorecard' denotes the day I accknowledged the kill. But I could have sworn that there was a kill before that. And before the update, and after I got mine.

None the less... I have fucked up.
