Pissed & Can't Return T_T

I asked her mom to take me to Wal-Mart... and I was just gonna get a shelf for my DVDs...

She was offering to buy a TV stand with shelfs on it and everything... shes feeling the guilt of what she did... or shes just a good actor, but since she hasn't taken any acting lessons.. I doubt she was faking it..

Anyways... I just told her no.. cause I was just going for the shelf I was planning to get but it wasn't there... so I just bought a cheaper one. Its pretty nice.

She was telling me how she should hopefully get a loan and give us all the money she owes us... but even if she does give it all back... what she did is done and thats the lowest I have ever seen somebody go.

This Sunday... Her mom is s'posed to be getting cable. "No" clue on how she got the money on that -_-

Not to pull a Debbie Downer on this, but if I were getting married, I would want to know what happened to the dad of my spouse-to-be, and just where exactly she is getting a wad of cash from.

Though I don't quite get why your fiancee didn't open her own bank account with the cash. I also don't get what the 10k have to do with you playing FFXI.
 
if the money didnt come till she was 18 and it was from the accident...it would seem there would be some legal binding on it that would make sure it was hers. If her mother took it i would think she would be in some trouble, but if theres no legal binding to that inheritence, that sounds really odd

He cant get BB and pay for a FFXI account now >< i offered him one of mine but he said no as only on dial up :(

Same thing happened to me. My dad went when I was four. Is she eighteen now, and if not will there be monthly installments of Social Security paid to the mother in addition to the one lump-sum? I know my mom got something like eight hundered dollars a month up until I turned eighteen, with a possibility of extending the payments for an additional year. I think that's standard in California.

In this situation, you'll benefit in the long run. Money handleing/making skills, etc.

I believe that if anybody had to pull it off, you would.

suck to hear that, My ex step dad did similar thing with brothers money though he used it to pay for bills. Thing I get most kid whould happy give there perent money if they need it why be so shady. Hope her mom pays you guys back.

thats also another reason why we choose not to do the court thing..

and the total amout was $10,500.

Her mom is slowing paying us back... like um... if we see something that we need... or want... she'll give us the cash to it

well...yes sadly.
While i love my mom to death, Shes a person too...if i got screwed over that bad, i wouldnt have much of a choice...and in this past year i have had alot of stuff happen that just makes me wonder....gee mom what the hell. So i kinda feel the sting of this situation.
 
Well... Today I went and bought ToA just for the hell of it... and to get it out of the way..

Sometime this week I might go and put about $100 in the bank and get myself a card. Then maybe I might be on FFXI... but we'll see.


About turning your own mom in.. I guess it depends on how you feel towards her.
 
yeh like i said tho, i love my mom more than anything...i wouldnt be where i am today if it wasnt for her.
but still, It may be your mom and all but that would be like letting someone walk all over you, You gotta be stern and step up sometimes...even if its hard to do.
i had to do it recently and speak up to my mom about some stuff, its really not easy...but its life.
Not everyone can do that tho...i certainly didnt think i could.
 
This is kinda tough on me... cause I don't know how to like... take it. Its my girl's money... and she is my girl... so it pisses me off that her own mom did this to her...

But her mom offered me a home here with them when I was visiting them for just 2weeks...

I'm there for my girl for when she gets upset about what happened, but I'm nice to her mom cause of her offering me a home.

Then sometimes my girl gets mad at me for being nice... @_@ what to do
