PS3 PlayStation Network game releases

Oh my, Gerry. I didn't know you were such a pungeon master.

In all honesty, I can't wait for it. First PSN game I'll be picking up.

I know I know, I suck at puns at such =P

Fat Princess? yay! :P

Fat Princess looks great, but $15 seems kinda high. Can you play with multiple people on one console? Or is the multiplayer online only?

I picked up Pixeljunk Monsters and Patapon 2 this week. Both have been pretty great so far. I can't stop tapping out the marching beat from Patapon 2 with my foot.

There'll be a single player (or offline) story mode. Whether or not you can play that with multiple people remains to be seen.

I refuse to get Patapon 2 until I can buy an english UMD version for it :\ I really don't like DLC full games on my PSP since it's only 1 gig of memory and most is used up as is :P

Get a better memory stick. I got a 4gig one for 16 dollares a few months back, they're pretty cheap if you know where to find them.

I just bought an 8GB card for $25. I was tempted by the 16GB, but I'm probably gonna buy a PSP Go and decided against it.

This week's playable content, with Fat Princess being -- no pun intended -- the big one.

Has anyone played Brave Story: New Traveler? I've been tempted to buy it in the past.

PS3 Content
Fat Princess ($14.99)
Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Episode 2 - ($14.99)
Spec Ops: Airborne Commando - PS1 game ($5.99)
Madden NFL 10 (demo)

PSP Content
Brave Story: New Traveler ($14.99)
Pocket Pool ($9.99)
Strikers 1945 Plus ($11.99)
Spec Ops: Airborne Commando - PS1 game ($5.99)

Fat Princess is aiight. I can't connect online though, so I've had to satisfy myself with the offline "notsostory" mode.

I dl'ed Fat Princess Sunday afternoon. Haven't been online yet, but the single player mode is alright. Kinda tough, but pretty fun. I still suck out loud with all the classes, but I'm hoping that changes.

I downloaded this when it came out last week. I'm maybe seven or eight hours in. Pretty straight-forward turn-based RPG. Story isn't bad so far, you can craft accessories, players in your party get special "unity attacks" they can use when they are together. Looks great, though. Good soundtrack.

This week's releases has something I'm very excited about: the demo for Arkham Asylum.

PS3 Content
Crystal Defenders - ($10) (free demo)
Spec Ops: Covert Assault - PS1 game ($10)
Rag Doll Kung Fu demo
Batman: Arkham Asylum demo
Worms demo

PSP Content
Dynasty Warriors ($14.99)

Nothing coming this week that really interests me -- mostly because I've been having too much fun with Shadow Complex on the Xbox 360 -- but at least they're still cranking out those PS1 games.

They've also added Andy Dick as a character in Pain. Being able to fire that jackass into an explosive crate and bounce him off into a passing police car might be worth the cost.

PS3 Content
Smash Cars ($14.99)
Bloody Roar - PS1 Game ($5.99)
IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey Demo
Mini Ninjas Demo

PSP Content
Warriors Orochi ($14.99)
Bloody Roar ($5.99)

According to 1Up, the ESRB has rated a bunch of PS1 games for the PSN store. Some of the games on their list have already been released. I'm psyched about Legacy of Kain because that likely means we'll get Soul Reaver. And portable Oddworld games? Fuck YES.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
Bloody Roar
Cool Boarders 2
Cool Boarders 3
International Track & Field
Oddworld: Abe's Exodus
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Pandemonium!
SimCity 2000
Syphon Filter 2
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider 2
Um Jammer Lammy
