PLD weapon choice at 65

I suggest you look at the post where you agree there is such a thing as situational gear, you really can't say one is better than the other. One isn't absolutely better than the other - it depends on what you fight, and for many if not most of non-xp mobs in my experience crimson works better.

No. crimson feet's only use is for when you're making an ele resist build and pld doesn't even really need those due to rampart and curing abilities, also loook at the element resists this one gives, the only fight I can see trying to make a resist build for with one of those elements is maybe for tanking jorm with an ice build, for when it's in the air (and in the air only). under any situation where I'm getting attacked with melee hits I'd want AF/AF+1 or maybe something to help with hate like askar but most certainly not crimson.

What the taru said.

If you're gonna tank jorm, then use crimson in the air for an ice resist set, but on its own Crimson is nowhere close.


Edit: meant to say nowhere close to as useful as other gear.

And seemingly as AGI also effects shield blocks the +10 shield skill doesn't really seem worthwhile in comparison, especially b/c my gears are such to maximize def/vit/hp/mp

10 def has massively diminishing returns, especially past like 60. 15 Mp isn't even enough MP for a Cure II. +20 resist to EVERY element sounds nice, but you really only need 1 element on there for certain situations.

Lol at the whole agi > skill department. Better tell all the gold smiths out there to start pumping out HQ Dex+ rings for all the melees in the game.
