Pokemon Black/White

Basically after you beat the E4 the eastern half of the circle opens up. Not more than a few steps away from the gate there's a Hiker with a level 65 Croagunk.
The last boss's highest level Pokemon is level 54. That's quite a leap, even if Croagunk has like no HP.
The next trainer has a Rapidash, and I haven't gotten past them yet.

since there is no auto leveling up to 100 in wifi battles, this makes me happy. high level'd trainers/wild pokemon will make it easier to actually get to 100.

I'm loving this game so far -- poor Tactics Ogre is feeling neglected -- and think Nintendo made the right call in keeping all the old Pokemon out of reach. I'm still plodding my way through and only just beat the fifth gym this morning. It was an easy series of one-shot kills, totally unlike the hellish nightmare I had in the fourth gym.

Also managed to get my hands on the other starters through GTS thanks to a number of people wanting Solosis. Heh.

...the hellish nightmare...the fourth gym.

Oh sweet Jesus on a bicycle, don't remind me of Elesa. Those damned Emolga /shudder One Double Team and they became untouchable. Then they Volt Change out and the terror started again.

And don't get me started on Burgh's Leavanny. Bastard slaughtered me by itself the first time I faced him.

Dwebble learns Stealth Rock fairly quickly.
Suddenly those Volt Switches aren't too handsome, are they Elesa?

nvm i post it in the other thread

I finally beat Elesa by using a Zebstrika with the Lightning Rod ability to neutralize the Volt Switch. It wasn't my best moment, but it got the job done. I hate those flying squirrel bastards. lol

I just kept rock smashing them and used x-accuracy.

I have volt switch on Zebstrika though, one of my favourite pokemon.

Trying to train Cubchoo for the last gym battle is taking forever. I forgot leveling pokemon in the 30s can take quit a bit of time.

Is there a good leveling spot in the game lower level pokemon? I used to just beat the elite four over and over.

I you're just looking to level up quickly, fight Audino's. You can find them anywhere there's long grass, just look for a shaking patch. An easy way to make them show up is to ride your bike back and forth along the route outside the grass until a patch shakes.

Wow good thinking. I bet you only have to do it for a minute or two. Those things are so rare for me. I want to release my catched one just so I can beat it up.

It took me forever to find my first one, but after that (especially after getting the bike) they started to fall out of the woodwork.

I got Zorua today with the help of my friend's DS. Seems you need 2 DSs to transfer Celebi and the Shiny Johto Trio. The little cutscene for Zorua is kinda funny.

In a burst of anal-retentiveness, I used the transfer lab to move all but a tiny handful of my Gens I-IV critters over to the new game. It took awhile, but thankfully not nearly as long as it would have if I'd had to trade them one at a time. I'm still missing three of the originals and have plenty of new ones to track down until I have one of each in my boxes, but it'll keep me busy awhile.

Seen: 616. Obtained: 564.

To breed Pokemon, the pokemon you want to come in an egg has to be the female right?

That totally sucks since I'm trying to breed my starter (which is male) to get the other starters. As soon as I unlock the national pokedex I'm hunting for a Ditto.

By the way, is Victni next to impossible to catch? I kept throwing ultra balls at it and it kept popping out.

Just beat the 6th gym leader and got Surf. Time to explore.

Victini is really getting luck. I was lucky enough he used endure before I had Panpour jack him up which left him with 1 HP and I paralyzed it with Lick and used a regular Pokeball for kicks and it was caught. The first time I played before restarting I caught him with a Great Ball after about 5 tries and putting it to sleep or paralyzing it, it worked.
