As far as I've seen the new huge ws numbers are coming from a Double Attack on the weaponskill. Which now carries the same fTP mod as the first hit did, instead of falling back to a fTP mod of 1.0. Whereas before a Double Attack meant 300 or so extra damage on a single hit Great Katana weaponskill. It now pretty much doubles it. (Correct me if I'm wrong please).

Naw, otherwise I'd be posting 3000 dmg Gekko's instead of 1800-2200 Im getting on DA procs.

Same. I can pretty much guarantee STR<=>ATT and DEX<=>ACC are going to remain constant. They are going to change the pDIF values back. They'll either increase, or decrease it slightly.

My SAM feels just like my RNG did two years ago. It's crazy how much things can change.
I agree though. Haste should affect Ranged Attacks, and we should get 1 agi = 1 racc / 1 str = 1 ratk as well.

I agree with this entirely. I don't do nearly enough damage anymore to satisfy my massive Epeen.

You posted this as a translation the the "known issues," when I'm almost positive they said they did it in the update notes intentionally so that the increased skill levels don't throw the automaton in to too much power.

personally i hope they gonna nerf 2h dmg a bit. its no fun if you can do over 1.5k dmg without any kind of buffs. you do good dmg even tho youre not really doing anything for it. id think SE is mainly gonna adjust ws dmg, rather than dmg output in general. (if its been said, sry, but i dont feel like readin thru 3 pages : P )

Only on charmed mobs. Jug pets aren't supposed to lose their TP between fights. Do more homework, wannaBST.

CC loses TP over time too.

This has gotta be one of the more ignorant posts I've seen. Nikky hit the nail right on the head with his post. Do you even know what jobs Nikky has to think you can talk to him about WAR and SAM, because from your sig, you most certainly do not.

Yes, If you wanted to be the top WARs and top MNKs, you put in alot of effort for gear and merits. Sorry, but just lvling WAR doesnt make you a good DD. I've easily doubled a fuck ton of other WARs in damage, because I put in a hell of alot of work and time to fully gear and merit it. I've pwned plenty of MNKs, hell even when they sub war, on my NIN. Just getting it to 75 doesnt make you a good DD. Its what you do after it that makes you a good DD.

Except of course now that has changed with the new update.

My decently merited SAM, but without any GKT merits, that I didnt put even half as much time as i did my WAR, is now by far my better DD. Its not even close. I'd like to see a little nerf.
