POL NEWS : Accounts 4000 Banned (Feb. 21)

Not too long ago, Chasym's thread did a decent job of showing that most of our endgame cheats. Or rather, confirming people's unspoken suspicions that everyone else is cheating. I think people always kinda thought that everyone else they were competing against was cheating - this just made them probably right. People haven't disowned their endgame shells since then. People haven't abandoned their ill-gotten goods. Blabj cheats. If anything, he's a better representative of the apparent majority of this server than any clean player. Why disown a mod who for all intents and purposes, stands for the values our endgame population glorifies?

I disowned the shell I was in, and by how much of a pain in the ass it is for me to find another, I'm actually starting to really hate our stupid ass server. >:( http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=41439

I don't wanna go back to antares. I won't even if it's the last LS on our server. I have no huge beef with anyone on the LS, and some of my friends are on that LS, but I will never be able to fully respect the leadership after that whole ordeal. I wasn't even in that LS for long, and in a way, I'm kind of happy I didn't get to know anyone. It made it hella easy for me to jump ship, and the fact that I was new and hadn't gotton anything out of it made it even easier.

unfortunally I do not believe there are any full time sea shells. Though there plenty part time ones.

if that is the case then it truly amazes me how much you guys post on these game based forums, for not caring about the game. =/

I don't mind admitting that I have nothing better to do when I'm home :P

And a vast majority of my posts are about non FFXI related stuff..
 
I only post on the WoW boards or to help people out with job advice that I used to play
 
just to clear what i was saying up a little,

i think its cool you guys post :) but, its just annoying when people say they are quitting, then come back 2 weeks later. or when people say they dont care, but obviously do care. so, was just saying. :)

Well what I meant to say was that we don't care to try to talk with SE about our accounts again. Could've worded that better I guess. I won't be playing FFXI again, I've accepted that fact and it doesn't bother me anymore. Parts of my life have gotten better since I got banned..

Last time tymon called, an automatic message said to read their update info and never call back if its about banned accounts...lol

Part time is positively fine with me.

The one shell that did respond would not accept me because in order to join you would have to be with them for everything (hnm, sky, etc) or nothing. Which is not going to happen because a) I play on JP time, b) I have a wife that only lets me play 5 days a week, a few hours at a time and c) I have a 5 month old daughter.

Shit, if I could find a shell that only does sea one day a week for five hours, I'd be happy. I wake up early on Sundays just to go to Dynamis. Earlier than I wake up to go to work. I'd positively be willing to do the same if I found a good sea shell.
 
heh how have you been ard? I havent seen you on the slayers ls for awhile taking a rl break?

ahhhh lol :) s'all good yo. yeah, i dont think i could really battle with SE... maybe could challenge them to ballista >:D
