They don't have to scan your entire PC to detect if you're using windower. They just have to scan FFXI/POL DLL files that are in use to see if anything is hooked into them, and if so, they can ban you for tampering with the files. Once you agree to any EULA, you lose any rights in regard to "their" files that are required to login to their servers and play their games.

They have plenty of rights to monitor those files.

If any of what you're saying is true, and these supposed people truly do, They'll be removed.

The difference between is it and will they is very large. Is Windower detectable? Ofcourse. Anything on a PC, running or otherwise is. Will they? No, because as of their current ToS, it is completely 100% globally illegal for them to do it.

There are plenty of places where hackers run rampant, Mee Degi being one. If you show up there without hax, you might as well farm the yags for gil until you have enough for O. Kote.

Of course there will be the times when he will spawn near you, but a POSing Voke botting GS will probably win most claims down there.

When I first hit 50, me and my friend did Mee Degi. Back when he was on the platform against the DRG RMT crew. We won 9/12 claims, so I know it is possible. But with the lag of 100+ people the odds of beating a bot go down significantly.

I was in DA a few weeks ago, and Faf spawned about 10 feet away from me, he never showed up on my screen until I used /targetnpc and ran right up to him. He will have to be standing closer than 10 feet in order for me to have a shot at claiming.

I wouldn't mind trying, but trying to claim on the solo is retarded.

i never said they ban people specifically for windower, But it has happened to people who only use windower. Personal anti hack friends of mine banned on windower lite because of the speed bursts. If they banned you for windower they dont have to say it, they just gotta say third party programs, which is what they do anyway, and you cant do jack about it.

they can detect windower, they do detect it. its a fact. They cannot legally detect it so they never wil say anything about you using itl, its a fact that people dont wanna believe. Gotta stop kidding yourselves, they will change their tos to allow this soon. its a popular misconception, but in my time with hacks and testing in a group, They do detect it. They cannot say they are detecting it currently, but that can change and i suspect it will with the new windower coming.

being that the creators are not around anymore and have moved on being too busy coding for vista and what not, the new guys even have trouble putting the detectability and speed claims to rest, they cant give an exact answer on it from what i seen browsing around there.
I stopped going there when the original creators left and passed on the torch to someone else. cute to find a post about me over there too lol.

most people who use windower just download and use not knowing anything about it except that it windows and has plug ins, they didnt code it or care who did. They are just users, its been said before that while its there its barley noticeable. no reason for anyone to notice besides someone who looks for that thing, A GM.

Huh. I can see fafnir every time he spawns when i'm up there. Know why you see people spinning around? Because moving causes displayed characters to unload so it can load new ones. But, it always loads NPC models before PC models. So, just keep moving so that the game is constantly reloading character models, and bang, fafnir will be on your screen almost the moment he spawns.
Its a neat trick, completely legitimate, try it sometime. You can see it easily with darters, because whenever you move within a certain distance of them, they load.

There you go, i just told you the secret to claiming in the DA against bots.
