Not acording to thier current EULA they cant.Garvin said:SE can easily detect windower if they choose to. Period. They don't bother.
That can easily be changed, but again, they have no reason to look into windower further. (Assuming they already do have absolutely no way of detecting it already.)Marajade said:Not acording to thier current EULA they cant.

The maker of the windower was going to include a time stamp in your chat logs, but said that the GM's could see that if they check your chat logs, so they can detect at least one plugin but they have to be actually looking for it.neophytal said:it has been stated by the makers of windower that these plugins use information that is SENT to the client.
hence, if its sent, this information is just extracted and displayed.... and *not* detectable.
if they are lying, then so be it, but, according to them, they are not detectable.

Skaw said:Actually, TParty would be really difficult for someone to get in trouble over, as the only way they can physically prove it's used is to watch people use skillchain without communication in game.
But then again, theres always roommates who play and Ventrillo/Teamspeak.

There's no echo information sent through the windower plugins. I believe you're thinking of FFXIapp, where you type /echo map on etc. to get the mini-map in the corner. Those are detectable, yes.Firestreak said:No there's detectable echo type information that's sent back and forth that can be seen if a GM is ghosting you.
They added fishing fatigue a while back, so if you want to fish constantly you need multiple characters for fishing.mdkuser said:with all the accounts they suspended so far, there are still those same fishing bots in quifim island that are pissing me. I mean you see a lv1 fisher w/o a subjob , fishing there, there is a problem. Gm wont move a finger on them this sucks. Instead of banning accounts they should make mobs there aggressives, and make Gigant Squid
mor difficult to catch so that a LV1 fisher cannot get it.
