Uhh...don't knock it till you've tried it. Knowing what I know now, if I didn't have ridill and this came up, I would take the ridill over the gil without a second thought.

For people that don't do HNM (or can't) ridill should be a very nice option.
 
I wonder if we'll be able to recharge our anniversary rings this year... Then that'd be really sweet. Even if it's really unlikely to win this lottery, at least a mirete memoir will still be good if anything.

There are a lot of those mistakes Rank 2 is Xarcabard and Rank 3 is Beaucidine.

On a serious note though, I would choose the 100mil hands down.
Would give the average gamer alot more stuff to play with then a single item.

In order to ensure winning 100,000,000 gil, you need to spend 500,000,000. Can't exactly say that the amount of gil in existence will increase...

I think this is the first event I will actually partake in. The last anniversary event I just talked to the moogle to get the ring, then went lvling.

edit: can't find what the price is, but I think I remember them saying it was 5k per marble? If its 1000 per marble, that's 100,000,000 gil spent at a guarantee to win 100,000,000

100 million gil is pretty nice.. but.. if you think about it. What would you do after you got the gil? You can pretty much buy everything you could want from AH / LSes and well, for me thats a big loss of incentive to play the game, once theres nothing to work towards.

That being said, i want 100 mil ><
 
Rank 2 is interesting though, I'd take v-belt over 10M hands down (although Darth would disagree)

Or take the 10 Mil, pay the gil sellers camping the V-Belt 3 Mil for the drop like some people do, and now you have a new V-Belt and 7 Mil in your pocket....
