Just wondering....
Just wondering....have any of you thought about doing something while waiting for it to log through if you felt it was a waste of time? I know you can set PoL to input all needed information without you having to poke a button until you pick a game. Maybe grab a drink or snack while waiting. If you dced, yeah the delay is bad, i don't know what happened to common party manners in which a party waited 10~15 minutes for you to return. A few years back parties would wait knowing you might have had to reset a router or PC.
I had a Qufim party where i dced and the leader replaced me. I was gone 3 minutes. When I got back his party was dying and I started form my own party. Funniest about that was the replacement for me joined my party after he found out what had happened. My party leveled straight through to the 2nd jungle of kazham.
Once again PoL supports more than just the PC users. It is an interface for all the systems that run FFXI. I doubt i will see any .exe for Xbox or PS2/3.

Honestly I dont see all the fuss really, it takes me hardly a minute to completly log into the game and if 1 minute is so hard to put up with for 8+ hours gaming well goodness just leave the game logged in then, that way its always there for you and no precious seconds wasted pushing a button or two.
Lol I bet most of you wasted more time typing a rant about this feature than you did logging on yesterday.
