Police draws gun in snowball fight?

Overreaction is overreaction. The guy was off-duty, he had no reason to pull his gun out on a bunch of kids (teenagers?) having a snow ball fight. Had they been hiding and ambushed his vehicle, maybe, but even then, he coulda just pulled out his badge instead then called 911 to have an on-duty cop come out and issue citations for disorderly conduct.

it's always funny to see how snow impacts the U.S.State of Emergency for snow is so lolz to a canadian

We got two feet of snow in a month when we usually get an inch or two at most--this was more snow in a single day than we usually get in an entire winter. We were under a blizzard watch with 2-3 inches coming down an hour by the time this snowball fight was going on. This wasn't just typical American overreaction to snow, this was fairly srs bzns weather.

Pssh I'm in Canada and we haven't even gotten a centimeter of snow.

I doubt he would have shot the gun but in the heat of the moment, cops have been known to be tazer happy. Regardless, I would rather have a dude wave a gun at me than taze me.

Really?

This is how the winter in Stockholm is this year:

Outside my door I have like 3dm of snow /sigh.

I hate cold, it gives me some serious skin problems. I always get extremely dry skin. Winter could disappear for all I care -.-;

Yea, there is a pretty big stereotype on Canada. Just like America, it depends on where you go. In Southern BC, it was bright and sunny with no clouds in sight for the last 2 weeks, it only started to get rainy this afternoon. I've only seen it snow once this year and it was for about 30 minutes, it didn't even stick. No ice either, it hasn't been cold enough.

That picture makes me cold.

You're in BC, that hardly counts as Canada lol. That counts less than Southern Ontario, and even we have weak winters =)

Right I should have read your post below >.>

But yeah, what Mire said.

It's like how people think as soon as they cross north of the border the temperature will drop 50 degrees. C vs F joke..

I like how because BC doesn't have shitty weather, we aren't "Canada".

I'm in the real Canada. You all are fakers.

I'm two hours south of you, in Minnesota though. It was -34 when I woke up on Saturday.

With the wind chill? Yeah we've been there. For those from Alberta that's a regular chilly day.

I'm soo glad I don't live mid-west, or far east for that matter.

Canada is truly ball freezing if you live far enough east or mid-west, then of course there's north. Smart people don't do north lol
